I put up my BmCview program in the programming feedback section.

BmCview - Converts Final Fantasy VII battle models into field models that are acceptable to the field engine.

I need lots of help the debuging the lighing though...

This should speed up my moding process a little.8)

Wow, thanks Reunion!  What an improvment! :)

Totally revolutionized my FFVIIing experience!

And with that, Borde goes on a major FF7 model kitbashing spree.... :P  :wicked:

Sure!!! :-P By the way, you are right about Zack, Kadaj. That's why I don't like how does the modifications I did look like.  I supose I should make the poligons larger depending on the height where they are placed, It's just that I don't know very well how to do this.

sorry for being stupid...but i dont quite know how to work the bCweiw   runion...help :) lol

Remember that the converted models will have either no lighting and or beyond buggy lighting!!
So Kadaj you might not want to use this yet. But in the mean time spend some time learning how the battle and field models are put together and this will hopefully help you to understand my program.

urrmm ok....and where can i buy a "Final Fantasy VII battle models for dummies" book :D

I've gone further with the Jesse model. Now it looks more or less how I'd like it to be finally:

What do you think about it? Is there anything which should be changed, removed or added?[/img]

The the arm/hand size ratio still looks a little off -- perhaps the hands need to be made smaller?  All I know know is the size difference just seems too....abrupt.....at the wrist area.

Other than that....the model looks good, though the in-game picture is a little small for us to discern all the detail.  :P

And nice touch with the 9mil on her hip. :wicked:

Judging from the sizing on the Cloud model, I would say reduce the hands a little then fatten up the arms if poss.  But it's certainly looking better.

Bigger arms, smaller hands, and she needs some sign of breasts.

Kadaj: I think the breast plate looks better in game, where the lighting highlights her rack. so to speak. At least thats how it looks from the smaller in-game shot.

I'd say tweak the hand-to-arm size ratio and you got yourself a pretty nice model there. Infinitely better than the original.

Gah, seeing these auxiliary characters fleshed out in high-rez is going to take some getting used to. Now I might actually care when they die.

Upon KojiroTakenashi saying I checked out her breasts and I think StarkRaven is right, the shading seems to make them evident in the in-game shot.
In-game the arms look even worse than in biturn, she isn't the gorilla girl she was on the previous attempt at the model but her arms are terribly thin, beef them out so they fit the shoulders better and the hands might not be an issue (though I suspect you might need to shrink them down a tad).

Anyway... good luck on the model, I'm off to bed.

Ah, it just didn't look like she had any...

I'd take the breasts from maybe Aeris' model...those just don't look modeled as smoothly as the other femmes do.
