Oh djzerious, there are mini-images arround the net that fool the game's protection :-P So you can still use The Saint's patch even with a downloaded copy.

Psh, no one cares, noobs like you who need help with your downloaded ff7 game are a dime a dozen.
 
Borde: Do you think i'ts because of that? I will try to re-apply the patch and i will see... I hope it's not a bug of the new version of the ruenion patch... Do you have an Old version for i try it?
 
Nop, I have the same version as everyone.
I say that some file got corrupted because the game also crashes for me if it finds one. I never get message boxes.

I have done that and start on a model and on my way home now to tune it up. I zip up all the SD models if anyone want them and Borde if you get msn and pm me your addy we can chat about the NPC's and get them up and running cos when i was working on the 1 I seen how hard and long time to get them working.

For one; just having a downloaded copy doesn`t magically create the problem he encontered.

Secondly; I myself have a perfectly legit and paid for version of FF7, and since I get the error it can`t be related to any "ultima-edition" or anything.

I ended up asking someone else that had patched their char.lgp to send it to me, and then it worked perfectly. I can only reason that either lgptools or the Reunion installer does something funny. I did follow the proper instructions several times, and I am 100% sure I followed the instructions the way they were meant to be followed.
 
I never said it did. All I did was link him to the thread that says we don't support downloaded copies.
 
Can someone give me instructions on how to install the SD models? The README only said "Install the same way as NPCs" and I don't know how to do that either.

Hi all ok the SD models are not SD there just little to stop clipping and got some big errors init from me. I will be home in 1 or 2 hour and i give you guys the President Shinra model and start work on them errors

By the way if one can give me of a save where i can see him better what i need is where there all having a meeting Shinra HQ i can start work on somemore models

there is the model im sleepy now and have not had time fix hes eyes i will fix them but i what you guys to see if his mod model looks ok to you alll

I was just thinking that if things keep progressing on this board, we'd basically have a remake.  The only thing lacking is higher-res backgrounds, but that's problematic.  We've already made it possible to play better music, use higher-quality videos, play with much more detailed characters...

The backgrounds are still just the 320x280 playstation backgrounds stretched on the screen to whatever resolution.
