I been working on the battle scenes texture, trying to re-texture them to be better. So far I only got Sector 1 done which is the fist mission for avalanche in the game. I have uploaded the files so everyone can try them, and tell me how there are and if there an improvement. Also how and what to improve or just to move on the the next part of the game. To install all you have to do is download then decompress your battle.lgp file then copy all the downloaded files into your battle folder and overwrite. Then just re-compress and start a new game to check out the new battle textures.

Sorry you have to download each file individually i don't know how to put it all in one folder to download.

is this only the first battle or the whole bombingmissions? post pics plz

Instead of asking for pic's why not take a few minutes to, oh i don't know, PLAY THE GAME...  :|

dont have it on my computer :P I just make models ^^
So why are you interested in making models and texture updates if you can't actually test them first hand? Seems a little strange to me, I think first hand testing is a definite must!

i usually have ppl test for me, i have it installed on some partition but its a pain to restart my comp and get to it,.. i test the odd thing, but usually ye dont need to

interesting, post a number of screens, i'm interested to see what you did with the other battle scenes

Ok give me a moment and i'll play back through and take pics. I think the first battle is good and dark enough but i think i new to darken the other ones up a bit. Let me know when i post the pics

Where can I find my battle.lgp and how can I decompress it?  I'm used to playing on PSX, I've never really tried modding before, its not a girl thing, lol

The battle lgp is stored in the data folder which should be in your ff7 directory (C:\program files\square soft, inc\final fantasy 7\data\battle), that is if you installed in the default location and to extract the battle.lgp you have to use a program such as LGP tools, you can do a search on the forums for it  :-)
