Ha sure, when I have the time, I'll make a tutorial! Keep in mind 10 minutes since it's a simplistic texture!
Usually it would take a lot longer if we were to produce quality textures
But a quick summary.
Umv unwrap - cylindrical - reset - fit
Wield selected
Pack uv's - Linear packing
Render umv template
export selected part
Import as new 3d layer in photoshop cs4 extended
Add details with the brush tool! done!
I only recently discovered the 3D import since I didn't have extended version at the time. And my god It is amazing! Saves so much time compared to how I used to draw my textures.
Edit:
Rather than completing my re-texture of Vincent. I've been procrastinating and experimenting with a few things. Such as this Cell-shaded Vincent!
