[FF7PC] ice_cold513 Sephiroth Patch (Beta)

I have try and retry but nothing to do , when i try to put  "saab" into  battle.lpg (open with lgp tool) it refused (i have a and open window "acces refused")
what can i do ?
 
Do a complete reinstall of the game, and only use the 1.2 patch.
Nothing else.

Now try.
 
Nothing better for "battle.lpg" its always impossible. (i have heard that it was only for the limit break(is that right ?) so I can make without)
 
I have a problem with the patch I don't have sephy for battles...during the battles , I have cloud.  Sephy is only here to walk and talk .
I have try to create a new battle.lpg with ficedula including "saab" of "limit to work" , but nothing better , I have only sephy during the battles (I suppose battle.lpg and the problem are not link ,if battle.lpg is only here for limit break)

what can i do to have sephy during battles ???????
 
have you followed the instructions? without adding that battle.lgp I don't think sephiroth will be in battles.
 
i know it's not supported yet  but how is progress on using this with the NPC reconstruction patch going, because i <3 both
 
Sorry if most of you disagree with this but I think the NPC Reconstruction Patch is just a little more important. I'm sorry but I'm kinda against the whole Swapping Sephiroth and Cloud thing (unless the final version completely changes the story...a story just for Sephiroth durring his early life, durring the Shinra VS Wutai War and what was going through Sephiroth's mind durring the Nibelheim incident where the story ends, the final boss representing his insanity in the form of himself, a battle impossible to win...as a cutscene dramatic like Cloud VS Sephiroth....though this would require an extensive amount of Coding, something nor really possible to complete anytime soon).

To me, this patch kinda harms the story of Final Fantasy VII! the NPC Reconstruction patch, on the other hand, does nothing to the story and updates the game to make it look better, replacing the low poly block characters with higher poly characters to match the Battle characters and the FF7's engine can handle much higher poly models, maybe even close to Advent Children quality!

My stand is that maybe the focus should be on the NPC Recontruction Patch, then get back to this Sephiroth Patch when NPC V1.0 is completed and released (all models done) as:
1. it seems that the NPC Patch is meant to go with the Sephiroth Patch
2. The NPC Patch seems to be near completion anyway and less headaches to complete
3. A true FF7 fan would find the Sephiroth Patch kinda insulting...even though the ideea of being Sephiroth is pretty cool.

Sorry ice_cold513 but I guess overall, I believe that the NPC Patch be complete before the Sephiroth Patch for I fear the NPC Patch won't be completed if you continue the Sephiroth Patch...though the choice is yours...
 
Well Master Ridley ... since we are in a kinda break of the NPC RC I guess ice_cold513 can spend a little time on this project until we decide to continu the project.  Even though I  kinda agree with you that it's not the most useful patch here... I think there many ppl here that seems to want it so I think it worth the time he spend on this patch.
 
Well storm got a job and was busy with Stormmedia Final Fantasy Sound (SFFS)

Borde had tests to get ready for and is updating kimera

so i'm just taking some time todo abit of the sephiroth patch till kimera v8.0 comes out

i do too but im not going to make 100+ models by myself
 
i would definitely help with the NPC RC patch, but unfortunately, i have no artistic talent at all, hell i can't draw a straight line this long "________________" (to scale)
 
It's not art though, is it?  It's using some sort of 3D program that's the hard thing.

And by the way, I'm on the PSP so that line is about a half-inch long.  =P

will the "final" patch be compatible with the french version of ff 1.02 ?

BTW is there any work going on this patch?Will there be anything new?Or something fixed?
