But with the default FF7 res the people get. Fat.. and everything get's REALLY stretched... and that annoys me  :|
Is your monitor a wide screen ?  Maybe you're just not in your native mode.  If your native mode is wide screen and you use a 4:3 mode then the image might be stretched.  In that case you might be able to fix this in your graphic card settings (flat panel scaling for NVIDIA's cards... don't know about ATI's) just set it to :"use NVIDIA scaling with fixed-aspect ratio".

My question is, The NPC RP didn't do the battle models of the characters,

I once worked on some models that could be used for battle.  I then decided to focus on finishing the field one since then are uglier than the battle ones hehe.

Though I didn't worked much on this project lately for I lack the time, I'm telling you all that I'm still here and will start again as soon as I can. :-)

I was gonna edit my post to include that but you already replied haha.

I'm using Windows 7 Beta, and if i change the scaling to anything other then "Use my display's built in scaling" Of which i do not have unless the res is widescreen just smaller then my native... it just resets back to default... It worked on Vista so it's a driver thing... But i can use it with the higher res patch for 1024 (i have 1680 x 1050) and not see much stretching. If you have a fix for this issue, I will warship you for all eternity :-D, Cause it's preventing me from playing other games that don't support widescreen (doom 3)

Okay, someone enlighten me.  Nowhere does anyone say what this patch DOES. Can someone help me out?

It replaces the low poly field models (when you walk around) with high poly ones, similar to the ones used in battle. Only better.

Currently it only replaces some of the models not all, As it is v0.1

hopefully i'm not being a necro here (and sorry on the double post but i think in this case it's needed)

Is this project still on going? Or no?

So it's the NPC-RC reenvisioned?  Also I tried running this and all my movies play upside down when they didn't before.

I had the same question some time ago... after that i checked the first post by Ice Cold an saw this:
"As all of us on the team are busy now days. The chance of us getting this patch done is slim. So we need some people that can make model's.

What we looking for ?

(1) Model's that are like the ones we have done

(2) some that can make a min of 3 new model's"

Soo i gues we need new team to complete this Project

Couldn't some models just be retexured instead of making brand new ones?

Make textures for old LEGO models? :?
That will be funny

Old blocky models had NO textures at all.

btw has any1 done this on vista? if so.. could u show me steps? i did everything that this whole thread says... teh installation, playing the blue meteor exe, checkin on the config (yellow meteor), etc and still some of the characters r missing body parts... any tips? :?

when i play using the patch...
i can play it only using the quarter screen icon even when i am running it in full screen.
I have it in compatibility mode for windows 98 other wise the mod wont work and am using vista

Well people..i tired to wait for somebody'll complete this patch so i tried to rebuild some models by myself:
DCorneoRebuild.jpg

SuitMan.jpg

( :? what happend with his textures???)

Waiting for you comments about this two :-)

Not bad, I tried doing the same thing but couldn't get the shadowing to look like that. Wasn't sure what I was doing wrong. As for the guy in the suit, make sure the RSD file for the head is referencing the textures. I don't know if Kimera saves those properly.

brokencrowe... how did u get it to work on vista? i cant... idk how :(

i just followed the read me.. and used win rawr or what ever it is called to extract the files in the LGP thing...

i do it too but then when i play it, some characters r missing body parts... idk y, i follo readme and all and still

I suck at modeling (i can't figure out 3ds max.. waste of my money right there haha..)

But with the tutorial i might just start modeling! if so expect lots of models cause i'd REALLY love to see this patch :-D
