I try to if nline with skeleton, but the arms and legs fly when "she" move it...

*EDIT*:
It's so simple change the models skeletons.... Open, for example Yuffie's hrc in word, notebook, etc... and NPC models you want change and copy the number value from cloud to npc... example:

hip                          hip
root                        root
2.5                 --->   2.89564 (Change to 2.5) 
1 ABJC                    1 CKFD

And now with the rest of parts... XD

Hmmm just my opinion but I'd get rid of mesh smoothing and just use normals smoothing, because having them all rounded makes there clothes loose shape and increases polys by a ridiculous amount.
 
and what might happen if I ncreases polys?
PD: "normal mesh smoothing" is the models which no have WELD ?
 
Increasing polys means more work for the proccessor even though it's a really old engine and the only thin that needs any work to do anything is the models, but people on lower end systems will even have a reduced framerate, plus mesh smoothing just doesn't look very good.
To do the normals smoothing just select the objects you want smoothed in max, go to the modifier dropdown list and select smooth, then tick the autosmooth box and increase the number on the smoothing thing to what you need, I tend to just max it out it looks fine then reimport your models and they'll be smoother but they'll still look like the originals.
 
i'm going to take the KH2's models in FF7 like some of you too, however i've got few troubles with 3Dripper
under XP, whenever i ran 3Dripper to analyze yaz0r's viewer, it always quit after i pressed Launch, not only the viewer but also any DX9-application. It seemed better when i ran under Vista, i could go to the viewer but it crashed immediately after pressing F12, can anyone help me  :cry:

oh, and just a small one, i guess that you used yaz0r's tool to dump KH2's models, right? so can you tell me what the name of Tidus,Wakka and Auron's models are? I still havent found them  :-P
 
I don't know anything about your 3dripper problem, but I know Tidus and Wakka don´t appear in KH2, And Auron appears in Hercules world, so search in Hercules files... "N_HE***_RTN.mdlx"

We could make a list of all models of both games (KH-KH2) with the names of these models...

thank you, slayersnext, i've found Auron's model, but how about wakka's model in your screenshot, is it in KH, and so is Tidus's? sorry for these "stupid" questions because i've never played KH, i bought this game last week just for modding (and maybe playing afterthat :-D) but now, i still havent been able to fix my problem with 3DripperDX  :cry:
 
hmm, I cant find these models... I know that there are traverse town people, but i can't find them in xa_ex_**** and xa_tt_**** .... anybody has find them:
 
Grr, I had troubles again with 3DS MAX9. Now wen I want Scale, Move or rotate, the XYZ arrows don't appear. instead I have it, this red lines:

Anybody knows how can I put the red X, green Y and blue Z arrows??
 
Yeah I did that the other day,can't remember exactly how I fixed it, but I think it was a letter on the left hand side of the keyboard. Just try mashing the keyboard and see what happens, then work your way backwards through trail and error and see witch key does what, or you could do that first :-P.
 
i have a question: how can i smooth the KH2's models correctly  :? I used to import and do the same thing with FFX's models, and those ones while rendering were just a little different from the original models. But with KH2's ones, "Smooth" didnt work at first so i had to weld before, but the results werent so good.

anyway, i'm just a noob in 3D :-D

kh2 are very weird. Select all verts and click weld. You don't see any diference, but the model will be welded instead you can't see XD.

*Now, in some places (Church, home of the clone of sephiroth number 2, Aeris's home, etc...) Models with standart poses goes mad (normal when he walk/run). To you too??...

** What factors affect to  a Battle.LPG crash?. (Fill holes and stretch polys with kimera afects??).

thats you having edited the animations get a copy of the original from your cds

Nice work so far, they look slightly distorted though have you tested them all ingame to see if there animations work properly without body parts flying around violently?

Very nice job slayersnext, but I think you've taken a bit too many liberties for some models. Maybe I'm too purist.
