[FF8] Edit the default experience of all characters

Hi !

I'm trying to change the default experience of all characters modifying the init.out but it doesn't seem to work. Is it stored in another file ?

Are you looking at the right offsets in init.out? Squall's start exp are at offset 0x444 and 0x445. 64 19 -> 19 64 -> 6500 (decimal).

Keep in mind that in order to make changes in init.out work, you have to start a new game. It doesn't work with save games created before applying the changes.
 
Yes, I already know about starting a new game to make it work, I've already done this for GFs, items and gils. The problem is that I didn't look at the right offset. Thanks, it works now. :)
 
I noticed that the offsets on the wiki for the save game data are 0x0010 higher than they should be for everything after 0x000C, that probably needs fixing =/.
