FF8 Models?

Found this viewer, which came pre-packed with some FF8 dat files. which are just battle files from the PC version.

well don't have the PC version, only ps1 version and was wondering if player models were ever extracted from ff8? if so the PC version my be a good investment ^_^

anyway heres edea in 3dmax, since she's a boss she was in with the dat files

These sites (both pretty much the same) have a copy of the model viewer.

Edit-I don't know about the version mariokart64n used, but the version I linked to doesn't render some things correctly.

Do these model viewers by chance work with the PSX version (stupid question probably)?
It's the only version of FF8 I have.
