FF8 Remastered new Squall face texture

Hello everybody, i wanted to show you my first mod i made for ff8. I changed squall texture face with a new one to match the look used in the fmv. What do you think?

Before that, the pictures in here are squashed. Can't see the details much when the pictures are squeezed like that.
 
It's a little hard to tell with the aspect ratio squished, but does he look pissed off all the time? Angsty teen is better than 12 year old pretty boy I guess.

Also... his name is Andrea now?
 
I use 32:9 as aspect ratio that's why they look larger. I made new photos using my phone:

When you put a paint in the wall do you distort the paint to fill the whole wall?

I'm sorry, but I can't even see well his face, the image is too distorted. Can you post the image in the right aspect ratio?

I'm using a 32:9 3840x1080 ultrawide monitor, that's why the image is large. The photos i provided with my phone aren't enough?

You can just take the pictures with the aspect ratio the game was made for, 4:3 with black bars. I know everyone plays the way they want, but this is a bit too much, I never saw anything like that.

The remastered version don't even allow you to do that, you're probably using a mod to stretch the image.

The image made with you phone in offscreen is even worse? The game is stretched to the point of being too distorted to see. Can you post the images at 4:3? It does look like a very good mod just hard to see with that distortion.
 
It's not about how close-up can you get the picture, its about how widely stretched the picture is and we can't see the details with the stretched face like that.

Put the game back in 4:3 aspect ratio and then screenshot it.  I can see a bit and kinda like it. care if you show side by side comparison to original face please?
 
apart from the eye liner, its looks really good i think quite impressive, now we can see it in 'proper' aspect ratio.i like especially the attention to his scar always thought it should be more prominent.
 
Hi Andrea, it's pretty impresive, a good work with that, better than anything I had seen.
The angry/inexpresive face of squall you made is like i always saw him.
The only cons is the eyes liner like @gunner_1207 said.

Thx guys, i will see what i can do about the eye liner problem.
 
This is definitely a huge improvement from the remaster Squall face, however it's a little too dark-knight-esque and brooding.  Squall's original face is a lot more boy-ish and pretty, Nomura modeled his character after River Phoenix remember.
