OK, anybody managed to get ff8 running on xp on a geforce 6800 without the black boxes?
I've installed rivatuner and disabled 8bit palettes in the textures tab. Have fsaa and af turned off. I tried overwriting the [ForceWareFSAAModes] bit in the config with the info from the FAQ but that didn't help (added gridlines actually). Anything else I need to try?
