Tranquillo, è dovuto al fatto che le utilizziamo un solo master file per le icone per ora, alla release ufficiale della mod sarà sistemato.

Engilsh: He was saying that in menu the gray colors are a little lighter than how they look in the main page screens and that there are some horizontal lines in the menu and in the atb bar. I told that it's caused by the fact that we use only 1 palette and that will be probably fixed when we'll have the official release, is it correct or did i just say anything stupid?

In order to replace the fonts you also have to insert these lines:

Copy the above lines into hash1map.csv located in FINAL FANTASY VIII/tonberry/. Please follow  Kujax tutorial on page 8 to understand how to modify hash1map.csv. You can also use excel or libreoffice to open this file.

English instructions:
1)Go into Final Fantasy 8 folder, open the "textures" folder that you've added when installing Tonberry and create a new folder called "iconit" inside the folder named "ic";
2)Copy the .png file that Shunsq uploaded on the forum into "iconit" folder and name it "iconit_13";
3)Open the "tonberry" folder, located in Final Fantasy 8 folder. Inside there is a file named "hash1map.csv". Open it with Notepad; *
4)Copy all the codes that Shunsq uploaded but edit them, changing all the "iconit_" numbers in 13, and adding a "," as separator between the title and the codes;
5)Save the file and the mod should work fine.
To use them, create a folder named "ic" in FINAL FANTASY VIII/textures then a subfolder named either "iconfr" for french users, "icongr" for german users, "iconsp" for spanish  users and "iconit" for italian users. Inside this folder copy the textures of your language (wait for Seed Reborn next release to have all the textures).

Temporary method to use Seed Reborn without all the textures:
At this stage the textures for all the languages are not released yet, but you can use one of the textures on page 3( for french,german and spanish) or page 7(italian) of this topic. Download it, make sure it is 1024*1024 pixels, and name it "iconfr_13","icongr_13","iconsp_13", or "iconit_13", depending on your language.Then in the hashlist above, replace all the "icon**_**" by "icon**_13". That way the program will replace all the textures with "icon**_13.png".

Nice Shunsq, thank you. The codes are exactly the same for the italian version so for us there's no need to change them.
Now, let's hope that Mcindus won't have troubles for the new palettes.

NICE!  Thanks for all your hard work, Shunsq!  This is huge - and now we can test all of the languages!  I'm still working on German and Italian palettes (life is crazy at the moment!) but Spanish is ready to test!  French is currently being tested (and modified) for a temporary release!

Omzy still has some issues to fix with Tonberry, but until then, these palettes should work as a great temporary SeeD Reborn pack.  Some colors won't change properly (like when you lose health or get a status effect) but we're working on it!  Until then, enjoy this update!

I can't remember exactly, but doesn't the decoy President (the one Timber made) have his lines appear as greyed out? Maybe that's interfered with the actual transparency of the box itself?

Yes, the fake president's texts are darker.

I've tested it myself today and i saw the same errors as you. The fact that the background is not replaced cames from my program. I fixed it and updated the hash1map on this page. In fact the other languages had the same issue, even if nobody noticed it  ::)
The grey icons are due to hash codes "collisions", when two palettes have the same code.
 
Thanks, menu gradients are now working fine.
I forgot about this additional issue: there's no color difference (besides of the "-") whether stats junctions are available or not.

Also the "Double" and "Triple" palette needs to be added (I've already noticed Mcindus about it).

I love the progress!  I'm working on the new palette that you found but it has to go in all of the translations so I might want to release this version without that palette.  I will make one for you to test ASAP.  There are bound to be more missing palettes! keep a look out!) Also - the borders of your gradient boxes are too light and are pulling from the wrong palette.  Probably another issue with hash collisions that Shunsq mentioned.  I have a feeling that the Magic Junction window stats are also having this same issue.  The original Tonberry had this issue with the different text colors until Omzy coded them properly.

This is ultimately something that Omzy or someone who is good at programming (because Omzy released the Tonberry Source) has to modify in the .dll's of Tonberry.  If someone can compare how Tonberry handles the English version of the hashes via the .dll and compare it to how they are currently being handled, we may find our solution.  I am no programmer - just a problem solver.  If we have anyone out there who could help move this along, please let us know!

I already mentionned it in page 8.

For the background which is not replaced, there was the same problem with french icons. I updated the hashcodes for all languages yesterday. Have you used these new codes ?
If you can't write/read english well, you can use google translate or reverso.
