I'm sorry - my hard drive crashed with my Italian progress and I wasn't able to recover it, so I started re-creating it from scratch.  I've been extremely busy and have very little free time also - so it's been a slow process.  But it will be done!

hey guys , I'm working on a translation project of the client English in Italian.  I'm doing it to make compatible the seed reborn and other mods that do not work in the Italian version . I'm doing it for modders that at least do not have to do the Italian version which is more complicated to do. here are some screen.

Looks fantastic at 1600 X 1024 or bigger




but at any size smaller, artifacts begin to appear. :/




It looks exactly the same at any size smaller then 1600 X 1024, I tried several resolutions from 720 X 480 all the way to 1440 X 900. I'd prefer not to have the game take up my entire screen. Is there anything I can do?
 
When I click download I get a file called Setup_ODM.exe. Is this correct? I thought this was manual install.

You should get a .RAR file. That setup file is probably from the adfly link. Wait for the counter to hit zero and then click the "Skip Ad" on the top right corner of browser and the real file should start downloading. If issues persist, I'd recommend using an ad blocker.

I'm playing a version in Portuguese (Brazil), but the textures of the numbers in the battle screen are not being replaced by new textures, someone could tell me the reason?

será que se aplicar a traduçao depois do mod de texturas nao resolve ?
tenta instalar o mod numa versao limpa e depois aplica a traduçao

Instalei uma nova versão do zero, apliquei as texturas na linguagem original (Inglês), e ficou perfeito. Porém sempre depois que aplico a tradução os números dos lifes na tela de batalha ficam sem as texturas... :'(

ai ja nao tem o que ser feito, ja que é uma traduçao nao oficial. acaba por ficar nao condizente com qualquer mudança no jogo. e pelo o que sei, a traduçao nao teve nenhum update a anos ne ?
alias, tenta deixar o jogo em widescreen e letterbox. ve se tem alteraçao entre esticar a tela ou deixar as barras pretas lado a lado. tambem faz teste de resoluçao. tentar usar os varios patchs de resoluçao que existe, o GEDOSATO tambem
maldita square enix, nem pra traduzir serve. vamo ver no ff 7 remake e no 15 quando sabe la deus sair no pc

nope, only unofficial patch translation
and it is not updated since a long time.(most likely abandoned) that is the very cause of the problems

Realmente Israel...eu tinha chegado a essa conclusão.

Mas falando sobre o GeDoSaTo...estranho que eu instalei ele conforme as instruções do pessoal, mas não desbloqueou as outras resoluções, a maior ficou 1920x1080@60hz, veja:



Será que faltou algo que eu não fiz?
 
ja tentou correr o programa como administrador? eu comprei o ff8 da steam, mas nao instalei ainda. nao tem como te ajudar. logo faço 100% do ff7 e vou partir pro 8, dai vejo aqui como é isso

Rodei como Administrador é funcionou! Habilitou as outras resoluções.

Porém, se mantenho o GeDoSaTo em execução o jogo abre mas fica travado em tela preta. Se fecho o GeDoSaTo o jogo roda porém em 640x480(em janela).
Enfim, te agradeço pela ajuda, quando você começar a jogar o FFVIII e estiver funcionando tudo beleza você me orienta!  :wink:

fim de semana vejo isso. to esperando sair algo similar ao bootleg ou final heaven pro ff8. ta uma bagunça de varios mods, precisamos dum programa que una todos eles, ate os mais simples igual o bootleg e final heaven do 7

Mas de fato sinto falta de um patch de unificação, tipo se o pessoal fizesse um .rar já com todas atualizações correntes na página inicial seria uma boa.
Creio que ainda vamos ter muitos mods fragmentados por causa que são várias pessoas e cada uma implementando em projeto diferente.

Para mim foi apenas desmarcar a opção: Keep Aspect Ratio nas opções Settings

Então, funcionou!

pensei que o gedosato anulava o launcher oficial igual o 7heaven mod faz. eu prefiro uma tela achatada do que aquelas barras pretas lado a lado. pra ver animes e filmes antigos eu deixo as barras pretas, mas jogos nao da
