1Up.com has listed the release date as 14th Feb 2005. It is not known whether this is a possible release date for the Japanese or English version.

Ged's posting updates every few days, it helps to have this thread bumped.  He's doing a great job too, changing the title of the thread and all to match the latest news, very useful for lazy sods like me who can't be bothered to go on Adventchildren.net. :P

Merci Ged.

Thanks eerrrr..

News :

New Cloud image...

Bottom right image

It seems this is a new image from a fightining scene that includes Cloud.
Looks like some kind of LB' attack or magic.

Source : AdventChildren.net

Take a closer look at this image again. To the left of Cloud's attack, it looks like the Wheel Chaired Person, Cloud going out of the room, and the person next to the WCP looks like Rude...

Everytime I see more stuff the more I get the feeling that they're gloating more about the graphics then the overall storyline. It seems that everyone has forgotten it. In which case I'll wait a week and see what people think before going to see it. After all, I don't want my most favourite game ruined like they did with the matrix sequals(not fully the same way, but you get the idea).

I just noticed the ShinRa logo on the wall in the top left picture. Guess that eliminates Jenova or Sephiroth?

Newsflash!

The 4 minute trailer from the TGS, *full* of *new* footage is available for download!
Please go to SquareNet and choose your mirror.

Not only, the FF7:AC figures were displayed on the Tokyo Game Show - screens following here.

Also screens for those who can't manage a ~40mb download are on the first site and here.

Have fun and enjoy!

The AC trailer was really cool yes, they displayed it once on the big screen (before restricting it to ticket showings)... My jaw basically dropped through the floor.

So, those monsters looked summoned by the white-haired gang... and the "magic attack" from Cloud released earlier is actually him flying up towards one of the monsters to attack. Also the other FF7 characters appear to help battle the monsters, in what almost seems like a final battle. Well anyway, certainly hyped me up.
