I've just got round to finishing the first ff10.... I've heard that there is a short movie connectiong ffX to FFX-2.. is that true? and if so.. where can I get this movie?

Yeah there is a movie, and I think its not released in English. I have downloaded long ago from a website which is now offline, but still I have saved that one (Don't know why ?)
Nothing special is in that movie only Yuna doing some Japanses talkies with fellows.

Isn't that a bit like saying, I've bought the Resident Evil series of games, so it's legal to download the movie? Anyway, if it's a commercial movie you have to buy seperately from the games (and I'm sure you know how to use Google to check) you won't get an answer here on how to download it.

It did come out in english its was bundled with a game called unlimted sarga or something like tht i hope that helps.

I guess it would be alright to leave a link to the movie...but I'm not sure if I can or not. I do know were it can be found. It's on a download site....something simular to GameSpy's Fileplanet (and just as hard, if not harder to navigate in.)
"FFX - Another Story" or "Eternal Calm" was orginally released with Unlimited Saga in European countries, and in the USA you needed to buy an issue of Playstation Magazine. I don't remember which month or year.
Anyway, if it's alright with the Mods and Administrator, here...I could leave a direct link. I got a warning for leaving a link to Cowboy Bebop's Song, "Blue", once. So, I doubt they will say, "Okay."
You know....if Square didn't want everyone to have access to this movie....Why did they put a reference to it in FFX-2. During the first run through of all the areas.... When Yuna is stating discriptions and thoughts of each area...and where you meet NPC, and they ask if you remember them. One of those guys that asks if you remember him, is from the Another Story movie....and is no where to be found in the game of FFX. Kinda leaves ? marks to all those that didn't see the movie. Telling themselves...I don't remember this guy.
After viewing that video.... it makes you wan't to play FFX-2. I, Personally, see no real harm in leaving a link.

OH LORD NO! I have played that game. I have no inkling of an incentive to play it to completion. The plot of that game is pointless, moot, and absolutely rediculous. It is just girl power with little traces of plot here and there. The horror! The scars it left behind! Those firm tight... wait, that was the only good part. :wink: Seriously though, it had little to do with the decent epic that was FFX. I'd much rather play the sequel to the surprisingly good Square/Disney (now it's probably SquareEnix/Disney) game Kingdom Hearts, with the incredible plot, lovely gameplay mechanics, and truly memorable characters (try fighting Seph - :wicked: - in THAT GAME. WOW. I have never loved having my ass kicked so much).
As for that movie... don't let that be the incentive for FFX-2. You'll be sorry.
I'd much rather play an FF7 remake with the plot from the new movie added as a bonus. Just imagine: RPG fight on bike, Omnislash now mediocre against those new bosses, new limit breaks (only earnable after origional final boss) and.... :drool:.
PS. I can kill KH's Seph easily now, just for the record.

And if the movie isnt worth it I wont bother looking for it.. I didnt hear anything about this.. I would be interested in seeing it though.. Is it worth hunting down .. or not?

The only interesting part of the movie is a new tidus video..... otherwise its pretty mediocre... oh I've started ff10 -2
