Skillster .. just curious but who the hell do you think you are saying what we can and cant post on these boards? Last time i checked you werent a mod... anyway who really defines explicit anyway.. oooh ooh i know we can start rating posts in the topic just for you skillster.. They can be G, PG, PG-13, R, and X.. there ya go... we can rate them .. that way if there is any thing that is deemed explicit you dont have to read it.. Come to think of it last time i checked the internet was based on Free Speech.. I dont really see any harassment here so whats the problem.. (Sorry it just got to me, and i probably way overreacted)

I still say thats way bogus.. Skillster you say your the most expierenced vet here.. DUDE ITS A MESSAGE BOARD!!! not a way of life.. its a way for people to communicate thoughts, feelings, problems, questions, comments.. after people know each other who really cares.. you find cursing all over the internet.. ALL OVER!!! seriously.. I dont really think anyone has the right and yes i said ANYONE has the right to promote censorship except Qhimm because its his site.. if he doesnt want any form of cursing i would definitely respect that because he made it he is the God here.. As for mods their duty is to uphold Qhimms laws so to speak.. i dont ever remember him saying dont curse.. *i dont remember it may have happened correct me if i am wrong* (yes if someones being harrassed thats different but ya see thats where mods duty comes into play) but c'mon now.. and Qhimm I would really appreciate your opinion here.. .. i would just like to know what you think about censorship on this board.. Its not CyberSex, Kiddie Porn, Hell any porno, Harrassment.. People made the language and its just a word.. thats all it is think about it.. its a word.. I believe there are no restrictions anywhere except kiddie sites and AoHell where you can curse...

Really the only person i feel that has a right to restrict cursing and bad language should be Qhimm.. I've seen it in other posts.. I use the language its just natural for me to do so.. I can use asteriks Fu*k is that better? Cuz anyone that can read knows what that is..

i may not b a mod, but i think we need to have a desecion from ALL the mods, as qhimm cant monitor this board 24/7, so lets hear it guys, isnt this going abit overboard?
 
We voted for the mods, and the ones we wanted were elected.  The moderators were elected to do a job, and we elected them because we thought they might do it well.  In my opinion, we have no right to tell them how to do their job, as it is us who chose them.  I am sure Qhimm and the mods have seen this thread, and if they deemed it inappropriate, they are thinking about deleting it.  Come on guys, lay off.  I don't care how long you've been here, you aren't a mod.  Let them do their job.
 
OK ... this sounds like my cue to step in.I didn't post anything when Skillster first came in because I didn't think anybody had said anything out of order ... I took the comments just before that as a joke (and not a *particular* explicit one, either).

My personal view on this topic?

One, a few people were Joey-bashing ... ok, ok, it was joking, but in this topic he hadn't posted anything really stupid. Like I said, I wasn't going to delete peoples posts over it though.

Two, yeah, swearing is something people are always going to disagree on. I'm just going to ask you to think about what you're posting, ok? This is a site where kids could very well end up so don't go posting messages like *full* of swear words or anything.

Unless Qhimm or the other mods disagree I'm not going to delete anybody's messages over this, but just bear what I've said in mind, right?
