Okay, after searching in google for 100 hours(I didin't sleep last night) for an alternative FFX OST download site, I gave up. Is there anyone here who knows another site which offers FFX OST download???

Its sad that you got no sleep lasy nightbecuase you were looking for a silly ost and spent 4 days looking for it to.Give it up Joey. If you cant find it after 4 days then boy you suck. I found a link on a FF forum to that old place(I already knew about that place but I forgot about it) in about 10 minutes.

The problem with MP3's is often with the encoder rather than the format.To take Bladeenc as an example: that used to REALLY mess up soft guitar sounds on one of my CD's at 128KBit; I had to push the bitrate up to 192 in order avoid noticeable "blipping". OTOH, Musicmatch encodes the same track to 128KBit and I can't tell the different between that and the original CD. There's a very large difference between the quality of encoders.
If you're really looking at saving file size VBR MP3's are good ... you can drop the bitrate to lower than 96KBit without losing an awful lot of quality. I'm not sure how good the new WMA formats are but that isn't an option for me since I use an personal MP3 player...

That site is sooooooo slow that it would take 10 hours just to download 1 CD of tracks. besides, my mom will kill me if the line is engaged when she calls back. I've got half a mind to send a sub7 worm to that site.

About the music formats thing I ripped some files off a CD into 64k WMA files and they are the same quality as 128K MP3 files.

For people who downloaded the FFX movies, is the prelude on the movie where Tidus is running around talking to people and signing their balls? (Heh heh

Joey, it's awful and tasteless. (I'm talking about the SONG 'prelude'). People that like that song routinely listen to Spice Girls cds and claim it's the best music ever.

You guys do like chamber music. Yet another Q: Where can I find FFX OST downloads? I'm @ disc 3 and that @!$@#$% Gamingforce audio took it down. Any alts?
