Samurai: Level 10
Monk: Level 31
Warrior: Level 18
Those are the only jobs I've bothered with. Im on Asura right now. Im a Rank 3 in Bastok, level 5 fame in Bastok, Im on mission 3/3, going for Rank 4, and I have like 40 quests done in Bastok, including Eco-Warrior.
Current job is Samurai/Monk. I prefer something little different, you know?

Also, GET YOUR SUBJOB AT LEVEL 18!
Trust me...at higher level parties (i.e. Qufim, Yhutunga Jungle, Yhaotor Jungle, ect.), if you go out there with no subjob, or a bad combination, people will not invite you to parties and will laugh at you.
Never sub a melee class with a mage class, or vise versa (i.e. RDM/MNK, or WAR/WHM, which seems to be the most popular among the uninformed people...-_-).
And make sure your subjob is always leveled. I saw a Level 42 BLM/Level 5 WHM...I can honestly say he does not get alot of party invites, because people dont like that.
But yeah, I'd honestly would kind of stay away from RDM, because the game likes specialized jobs...
Warrior, Paladin-Tanking Monk, Dark, Ninja-Damage White Mage-Healing, so on and so on.
Red Mage is a mix of everything, and high level parties dont really opt for a mixed bag of something that cant do anything the best. It cant hit the best, cant heal the best, cant nuke the best, because its a mix. You kind of see where Im going with this?
Just some helpful little hints. If you want, I could give you a World Pass to my server, because I'd be glad to help you out anytime. And trust me, you're gonna want high-level friends for the Adv. Jobs and Missions. But you'd have to create a new character.
(Sidenote-I know I said I'd try harder to stay on topic, but Squall man, you should really tone down that avatar, that thing is huge.)
