Hello, Qhimm Forum's friends

I want to introduce new FF8 mode

This mode is that Boss monsters are incredibly strong and have diverse skills with additional the art of trickery
Otherwise their drop items, mug items and draw magic are changed

And If you are not experienced for FF8, please do not play this mode

Because Crazy Boss Mode makes you crazy !

How to use this mode

http://www.mediafire.com/download/l7z167mlxa6fzh9/Battle.zip   <-This link is in the battle fi, fl, and fs files

http://www.mediafire.com/download/wt107b3mv5mytlc/Crazy_Boss_Mode.exe   <-This link is patchmaker file

You just download link's file and change your FF8 PC version Data file to link's Data file

This mode is only applicable for Original FF8 PC version <NOT steam version and epsxe-PS1 FF8>

Another FF8 mod is always welcome, but I've a few questions:

a) Is that a straight-up Data folder for FF8? I'm fairly sure you can't be distributing game files directly like that. It needs to be put into some kind of patch to avoid legal issues.

b) I'm guessing that the reason it's incompatible with the Steam version is due to the mod just being distributed as a data folder. I don't know the differences in how a 1998 original data folder and the Steam data folder are laid out, but it's likely that going with a patch can make this mod compatible with the Steam game as well (which would make it much more available). If you don't know much about computers (like me) then I recommend patchmaker: http://www.clickteam.com/patch-maker

Yeah, you can't just give people the game's data files. We don't support piracy here.

The battle stats are located in the battle fi, fl, and fs files. Just distribute those by themselves.

Thank you guys for telling me

I used patchmaker and attached the battle fi, fl, and fs files

Nice one...
Changing all monsters is out of question?
Even a simple level x2 would be nice...
