Final fantasy 8 Steam version Debug menu access instructions

This post : https://www.ff7catalog.com/threads/8923/ tell how we can activate the debug menu in the old pc version , but were we have to put his modded files in the steam version , and more important, how can we access the debug menu once we are in game ?.  :?

havent tested the debug room yet so I dont know if it work or not.

i tried it and it doesn't work , those modded files also crash\corrupt the game and the save file
