Ohh I'm doing a Squall cosplay too. :D Well, femme Squall. Which griever necklace did you get? Dissidia or FF8?

I bought this one a really long time ago for fun but I need this bigger one for the Dissidia version (which Timu ordered for me last week =P)

i got the original, i don't like the dissidia one.
 
I prefer the original, but for an accurate cosplay I need the right necklace. =P
 
I can't. I agreed to do a dissidia group cosplay with my friends for an anime convention. :P
 
ahh understandable then lol, i'm interested in how a fem squall would look like  :-P

and i need to get a hold of his gunblade some how xD
 
I'll upload some pics once my costumes done. =) I'm getting my gunblade done by a woodworker for free cuz I have privileges like that. :P
 
well make him make two  :evil:

and is he making it actual size? or to scale?
 
Well it's proportionate to my height, it's still pretty big though. O_O

EDIT: The guy who's making it does do commissions if you're interested, but PM me or Timu if anything. I don't think advertising is much appreciated on qhimms... :P

THat's pretty cool. Not as cool as the real thing, but still cool.
 
It's far cooler than the real thing, I'd argue.  Seeing as "the real thing" doesn't exist, except in the form of a few bytes coding for its model in the Dissidia rom :P
 
it looks pretty interesting, of course i'd rather get a stainless steal one ^^
however, would run into problems with that....
 
Because if you are going to make a cosplay sword out of metal, you might as well sharpen it into a real sword :P

yeah, and most conventions don't really like you walking around with a sharpened sword... :cry:
 
also... the wooden one weighs about 4ish pounds... i'd wager you wouldnt be able to hold up a steel version.
 
If i ever had the chance to do a FF cosplay, i would go for Vincent. He's my favourite character, although he's somehow plain, since he's a secret/secondary char in FF7 :/
