I've got a problem with looping mp3's, PSF looping works fine, but Loop custom files on in_mp3.dll - Nullsoft MPEG Audio Decoder 2.96+AAC
and out.ds.dll - DirectSound output v.2.2.6 can't loop even if checked in FF7music setup screen..

anybody has a solution? on which file versions it works? does it even works on anybody's configuration? I appreciate every help...

besides - I fixed my random world map crash problem with this file -

Besides I saw that here we have a lot of programmers.... so maybe You'll just make one input and output plugin for Looping and other options of ficedula just work fine? I don't think it'll be a hard and long work...

I asked this a while ago.. no one was able to help.. Even though i said 1000 times i was using MP3 format, everyone kept assuming i was using psfs.

Maybe it needs a new codec or soemthing *shrugs*

You know I think its pretty easy to ppl which know mp3 input codec source code... they need just to make something like that to play every mp3s file independently in input mp3 codec... but I think that ppl who can are too lazy to do it or they need to have authorization of nullsoft to do it, but I always tought that all MPEG codecs are open source so anybody can make it... I don't think that its changed cause still ppls are making new Divx codecs.. so that's mean that MPEG codecs are still open source!

I don't think it has anything to do with the codec.

PSFs loop by nature, MP3s do not (you have to start at the beginning of the file and play it again).  FF7Music is just not looping them correctly.

Unfortunately, FF7Music is a bit buggy and is probably not going to be updated anytime soon.
