@PitBrat: My folder links are bad ?  :-\

Why i am using folders: When one or more files are deleted and i must re-upload them,
the corresponding link (=>folder) is still the same.

What can i do better ?

I believe the folder links you provided are for your personal account.
The folder links require a login.

The links to the individual files work!
Thanks again!

Its probably simple lol

Mine says that a lot. What crash are you experiencing? If you're not experiencing any crashes, just ignore it.

A triple post. I am most impressed. You know there's an edit button? Lol.

Also, did you install the option to switch between battle interfaces? If you did, hit CTRL + F6 to change to FF9 interface. If you also installed the break 9999 version, then hit CTRL + F8 instead.

Sorry lol, never noticed the posts, iv sorted the interface and most others but the limits and chars are set to the hd origionals. In the BFE there are options for them like having barret with his AC gun but nothing changes. And the save points changing to FF10 etc

This is not even related to the Remix. It would be wiser to take it in the Bootleg thread.

Hey Titeguy3!

Thank you for this .exe installer it's amazingly handy as previously when I've attempted Mods it's ended up with FFVII crashing! My goal now is to actually finish the game, I've had it numerous times and never been able to finish for one problem or another. The field graphics look so much better especially now that I'm playing on my 32" Toshiba LCD.

Edit:

May only be one location or a bad Startup or FFVII.

The problem: Music overlaying in battle

Was in the Ducts leading up to Reactor 5 in Midgar and every battle i had been in had the music overlaying so area+battle+fanfare after winning. Once finishing the battle the music reset back to normal. I'd started from Sector 7 after blowing up Reactor 1 so no battle up to the Duct area. However after making my original post i restarted the game from inside Reactor 5 and everything is as should be. Wierd huh?

Hey there, the 9th part of the file simply does not initiate a download for me on IE or Chrome. Not sure if it's just me or not. I can download (and redownload) every other part but 9. Thought I'd post just in case it's not just me. :P

Kudos to the creator for this. I have a new PC and I did not feel like remodding this game bit by bit again so this is perfect. Thanks. <3

@Tifatree: Thanks for your information about this defect file.
This happens sometimes, i don't know why.  >:(
                 I am starting the re-upload.

MediaFire doesn't like my file today (02/25/2012).
I re-uploaded it three times, but with no luck.
I have uploaded this file onto Google Docs:
                    Final_Fantasy_VII_Remix_v2-5-1_Installer.part09.rar

Btw, what do you see in the top left corner when you
                 open the MediaFire folder.

This      "UGerstl"       Shared Files / The Remix (Titeguy3)
or this  "Anonymous" Shared Files / The Remix (Titeguy3)

Edit 02/27/2012

MediaFire has solved their problems and the file is available again.

@UGerstl Happy to help. :) The google link works perfectly. Thanks :D When downloading from mediafire it shows: "UGerstl" Shared Files / The Remix (Titeguy3)"

Sadly after installing this mod I found my game kept crashing which I'm fairly sure was to do with Team avalanches re-texture mod. This is based on the fact I vaguely remember it not being exceptionally cooperative on my last PC (It's been a while since I last played this game so memory is a bit hazy) I've been putting the mods in one by one except for that one and after sufficient testing have had no crashes. APP.log revealed only that there was an error, unhandled exception. But that's ok really, I mostly just like the PRP and battle mods with extras like music/limit-breaker/etc. However if someone has experienced this before and happens to know what's going on I will appreciate any input. :D

Hi everyone... I have a problem, the 10th part of the file is not working, i don't know if i am the only one with this problem... Please help, i want to play for first time this awesome game!

@raulgulino: I just tried to download that file and it worked ok for me. Maybe close/re-open browser and try again should fix it for you?

As a note using this remix patcher will break your game on it's own (Although it will look pretty.. it will not let you play much without crashing, I found out the hard way). Hit up PitBrats bootleg configurator if you want a well modded FFVII: https://www.ff7catalog.com/posts/145196/ It uses the remix patcher in  it so that won't have been a wasted download AND it'll apply fixes PitBrat has made to it when installing, as well as other such mods.

@raulgulino: I can download all parts without problems.
Tell me if you still can't download the 10th part,
i will upload this file on Google Docs then.

Thanks! But i can't still download the 10th part of the file, but is a problem of my computer, because my friend alredy can download that file. I think my antivirus (Nod32) is blocking the download of that file, because everytime I try to download, appears a notification of the antivirus, also the problem persist if I close the antivirus... Sorry my english, i'm from south america

@raulgulino: I have no problem to understand you.  :)
I don't use Nod32, but can you exclude files/folders in the setup ?

@UGerstl yes, i can download and exclude all the other files, except the part 10, wich i can't download  :-\  ... But no problem, my friend had download that part and passed me in a pendrive, now I have the Remix Installer! Thanks...

Question: is necesary to install the Bootleg configurator??? I only want to play the original game with better graphics and sound, and with fixed bugs...

You have to use Bootleg if you want a good FF7. The Remix will break your game. As in break I mean game crashing. Bootleg doesn't. Using the Remix all alone gives NO benefit, as it brings more glitches than anything.
