Hello all! I am going to buy FF8 soon and I would like to know you guy's opinion on which is the best version of the game? Which has better graphics? One rule I do want to play it (for the first time) relatively soon so I am not looking to see which one has more potential just the better version as of right now...

if you want better graphics, go for the pc version..
you can find some patches here that can improves its graphic..
 
I'll agree with Tetsujin that if you use the mods that have been released here, you can potentially get your game looking better, but...

oops.. didn't notice that coz i didn't played the psx version yet..  ;D
but if you want instant save and load, then go for psx emulator..
if you want anti aliasing and antitrospic filtering, go for pc..
 
i'd go for the ps version personally, yes the PC has better graphics and everything, but with me at least, i've always had problems with the game on every computer i run it on, not saying it would happen to you, but if i had gotten the ps version instead, i wouldn't be dealing wit dat, if your not afraid of that though, go for the PC version

I do believe Emulators can have some nice upscale filters. 2xSai works really well. But the game looks great on a playstation or PSP all the same. Plus I like not having to worry about crashes, like Jaitsu mentioned.
 
well.. those are the comments.. and looks like you should go for the psx version..  ;D
