Sorry to bother you all. I've just got two questions for you.

1) Is there anyway that I can make it so I can set the 'Enter' button on my number pad to take over the job of the 'x' button.. It seems to know recognise the enter button even being there, I also want the Menu button (I think it's 'd') to be the '+' on the number pad.

2) Is there anyway I can get this to play in window mode? Either that, or is there anyway to get out of the program but run it still, like 'Alt+Tab', I've tried 'Alt+D' and that failed aswell..

1- try altering the ff8input.cfg, by notepad.

the numenter and num+ should be one of the b?? codes....
Anybody knows which one?


2-try --ctrl-shift-esc--. works for me.

windowed:
ff8config>graphics>display resolution> 640x480 (quarter screen)
or
download -ff8configurator.exe-, should work even better.

It just kinda vanished both from Fice's and Qhimm's sites I guess (???), but it's freeware and I got the v2.2,
so just write your email , and I'll send it to you as an attachment.  :wink:
 
I've got one from there, but it seems to be a patch not a configurator of any form?

Ok sorry, I've gotten the FF8Config, but it doesn't allow to me to set it to a Window at all. The quater screen just makes it a smaller game in a full-screen mode.

Is there anyway I can set this game to be in a window?
 
I can't seem to download 2.2 of FF8Configurator.  I have 2.0 but it doesn't seem to work.  It's FF8Play.exe hangs on black before the Eidos FMV.  May someone email me v2.2 to [email protected]

This is kind of a bump I guess. Can anyone just confirm to me if there is anyway I can get this to play in a window mode? It'd make things a lot easier for me. Also, I can't mute it either, can anyone help with that too?
