Fonts in FFVII (translation)

Hello,
I am trying to translate FF7(pc) to my vernacular, but I have a serious problem with
fonts. I used program Omega from MaV and convert them to *.bmp
But everytime I tried to edit them the result is unreadable.
Can somebody help me ? (You will have my gratitude)

But I must warn you, I dont know anything about programming

I think its because of Omega...
