Just trying to set the record straight here.   You came to TLS proclaiming what you thought was wrong with the original FFVII script, and when you got criticism you ended up throwing a huge shitfit. 

You don't want "help."  You want people to do your bidding.  Big difference.
 
I'm not the one signing up to other peoples forums trying to ruin threads.  With respect, I left your forum, so please f*** off back to it.  You have no moral high ground, because you have puposely signed up to wind me and the forum up.

Let me slice this one at you. I have now spoke to 4 japanese speaking people, 2 at qhimms. All 3, apart from the one here are in agreement that flunkies is incorrect

Thats right, in agreement. So that means 3-1 OVER RULED.

Since I am asking a number of people and then making a decision based as a group, flunkies is history. Not because I say so, but because the majority says so and I have the final word on it. And WE say bye bye to it. It is wrong.

I wont indulge ignorance. I will be back here when I need help with the translation. If anyone wants to lend their hand to the project then they are free to do so. If they dont then the translation will go based on those who have had input.

Dont be so arrogant as to assume you know more than the other 3 japanese I have spoke to. That isnt good for this project and how we are to progress in making this game better, rather than argue about a rather daft word.

This is a direct quote from yours truly, and how he treated the forum. He called the members ignorant arrogant assholes (there are more posts for this proof) and basically told us that no matter what we suggested, it was already decided. So he basically joined the forum to get even more agreement on something. There was no room for discussion with him. He simply wouldn't have it. When we tried to ask questions about his sources, he ignored us, continued to call us ignorant and then left the forum in a hissy fit only befitting of a 6 year old.

yes and that was after 50 posts by you lot winding me up.  one look at the current posts will confirm what you lot are like, all discussing how to wind me up and bring the argument here for starters, including the so called mods again.

Seifer, I didn't join to try and ruin any threads, not did anyone else from The forums. I joined because I saw you misrepresenting the forum and the people in it as 'ignorant fanboys', when you were the one acting unreasonable throughout the thread.

I don't think any of our other members really care about who did what on TLS, I know I don't.

Ok aali, I agree.,  I wont be responding to the culprits while I am here but please can somone keep an eye open and remove any trouble makers.  They all seem to be registering.
 
Carry WHAT on, Seifer? You were not wound up, you reacted in a ridiculous manner to what was nominally the purpose of the thread. You asked for second opinion, people gave it to you, you didn't like that, so kept referring to flunkies not being a 'well known English word', Japanese speakers you refused to source despite a number of direct requests to do so, and eventually left the forum in a hissy fit trying to erase all evidence of your shame.
 
Yes, please remove any additional registering members, that seems a valid reason for a budding forum.

Mods, Admins, Seifer here is crying wolf because he found an opinion that didn't match his own, and when he couldn't assimilate our forum, he's now talking smack behind our backs here.

Yes he was out of line for the posts on your forums, asking for help and then demanding that you see things his way.

But you're no more right to bring the fight back over here to prove what kind of a point? The point of "Oh, I can go over to these forums and continue the fight."? I mean seriously, other than maybe some slight self-gratification what the heck would you really accomplish if you won any kind of an argument over this?

The same goes for you too Seifer (I assume it's Seifer, whoever DLPB is on the Lifestream's forums), seriously, don't go some where asking for help and then say "NO U!" or any other kind of 4Chan kiddy drama BS. If you think it may be off or dead wrong, give good reason and examples WITH PROOF of why it's wrong, otherwise just say "Hey, I don't think thats quite right, I'm gonna go with this one.", don't go and start bashing other people. Either you work with them and listen to what they have to say, or do like you did and go find other translators that "agree" with each other, and I use agree loosely, because as was said, a direct translation can be very bland and take away flavor for the storyline and characters. People will always translate differently. Even fansubbed anime is not a completely direct translation, it's the translation that the group decides best captures the characters and storyline, that's why there's so many different groups doing it. Hell I'm speaking English here and there's no need to translate for the majority of the people reading this, and there will still be people who will throw this little bit way out of context.

Any way, the whole point of my post is basically STFU and drop it, because there is no benefit to winning a fight over something as trivial as this.

They more than proved what they were about by coming here mate.  Try conversing with militant fanboys....it isn't good for the health.  But I have moved on, let;'s hope they can.

Sorry, I just remember Jari having a real knack for getting rid of the more annoying people on the forums, so everyone else can enjoy themselves and engage in meaningful discussion.
