ok, the story:

i specialise in modeling low polygon, for realistic detail (including textures) but i felt that i could learn a thing or two by edging toward the cartoony feel. so i started out on modeling squall.

after id finished the texture and everything, i went about thinking which pose he would look best in, so i decided to make him look like hes about to let loose a renzokuken or something.

lemme know what you think, any suggestions i like, i will put into the next render (even new poses and effects).

My opinion is that model / render is very good, although the guy does not look like Squall (only dress is him-alike), he looks more like Luke Skywalker ;)

what is the model polycount / can you render it in wireframe ?

the model itself had to have a 2500 triangle limit, which included a topless version, (so effectively the torso cost double the amount).

wireframes coming up! \o/

here we go:

without the jacket

with it:

Nice model, but the main on his coat need to be flufflyer, he needs the scar, and could do with being beefed up a bit :D
