Flash: Yup answer Seph's question first. And i think it would be Monkey Island series.

Seph: nobody knows that. Some hints ?
Devil Inside ? Messiah ?

Sorry. Wrong answer. *Drops mirex into a firey pit.* ;)

Next Hint: "The Devil" has been broken into pieces, and these pieces are "coming together" to reform "The Devil".

Note: Extra points go to whoever can give the game names of  "God" and "The Devil". It will also clearly point out what the game is.

OOOH! I do know this because I just bought it like 3 months ago (poor dreamcast went under so games are cheap now)

Its Grandia II, correct?   :naughty:

The devil is Valmar and the god is Lord Granas (who, btw, has the sweetest frickin sword ever...)

My only complaint about that game is it's complete invariablility (i THINK thats the word im looking for...).  There are, to my knowledge, absolutely NO sub-quests in that game, right? YUCK... otherwise an excellent game   :P

P.S.  Is anyone else reminded of "Beat the Geeks" yet??

We have a winner! SSJ4_Flash guessed the correct Answer, Grandia II.

Yeah, Lord Granas DOES has a kickass sword! Subquests? I've yet to complete the game,

I've only gotten slightly past the point where The beast guy dies & the kid rejoins your team.

But so far, I haven't really seen any subquests...

Does anyone know if the PC or PS2 edition look/are any better?

Oh, let's see... question, question... I hope that monkey island one didnt count

Okay, I've got one...

Hint #1)  This game is an old one for Sega CD and involved such life-saving items as a bear-horn, night-vision goggles, tranqulizer gun, and gas-gun...

p.s.  Completely unrelated question: Why does my signature never show up...?

uh oh :) sega cd, now who would own one of those?
it kinda sounds like mission impossible for the n64, though :D

qhimm disabled signatures.

Gas gun........?  :-?

Sounds like something out of that "Darkwing Duck" cartoon from the days of yore.

So, I'm guessin' it was a "Darkwing Duck" game.

somthin tells me this might need another hint or 2...

hint #2)  This was supposed to be a sequel to a POPULAR movie, although a real sequel was made in theatres later (which had no relation to the game and was a lot LESS popular)

edit:  also, i dont seem to remember a bear-horn in M:I for n64

Yeah, it was Jurassic Park =)  Great puzzle/adventure/fps game, and one of my first...
Good job   :naughty:

I got JP2 on the snes so I sorta remembered it.
Ok my question is:

Its a pc game, with visions of alien invasions

Aliens VS Predator OR AvP2.

If it's not that, then I have no clue right now.

lol..... thats pretty creative. the predator has special visual options :D

hm i dont know if i understand it correctly, but there were lots of aliens in 'Tower Assault'.

ID4, or Cyclones?

Hmm.... is it just visions of alien ship invasions or actual physical invasions?

It's real ships

The word visions is a sort of cyrptic hint at the title, think of another word for having visions and writing them down and then youll have part of the title.

It is in fact wing commander prohecy so you get to ask the next question.

Just as an afterthought do you think we play too many games by the fact that we can identify them from obscure clues?
