Well, how about if this thread is closed and make another one, but instead of a game quiz, how about something like movies, anime, or music?  Just a proposition.  :D

Why close this one? Just make a new one.

Argh, I don't like this, it's too hard!
The only games I've ever played are some FFs, Xenogears, and a loads of crappy PS games.

How about a nice easy question next?

Well I don't know If it's easy or not but :
3 people in 1 room can play simultaniosly off the same machine.
Its a fantasy game
Each of the 3 main charecters had specific roles ie magic etc
made in the 'good old days'

I dunno, might be The Lost Vikings (or The Lost Vikings II).  Dunno how "Fantasy"-ish it is, but it  kinda meets that description.

Not the one I was thinking of but I have that game :)
Another hint is that all charecters can interchange the multitude of weapons they collect.

Oh, Geez.......

Secret of Mana?

Argh.....If I'm right, I'm gonna have a hard time thinkin' up a question....

Well you need to think up that question because you were right, I need to think of a harder question next time.

Goku7: I think that it is your turn to place your question .... or is it end of this thread ?

No its not the end of the thread, here's my question:  What weapon do you have to use to start killing Zeromus with to "unlock "him so you can kill him in FFIV?

Um, Wobbitt, I beleive it's Goku7's turn to ask a question. You can only post your question after you've answered someone else's question correctly.

Ack!!!!!!!!!!

The next day after I answered, the DSL in my area went kaput, completely, leaving me with NO WAY of contact!  I'm using my dad's comp, because we didn't have enough room in my computer for a conventional modem, which is what I'm using.......

Anyway, on to the question.  This one might be hard, then again, it might not.

This game, which was one of the more obscure SNES titles that used the SuperFX2 chip, let you play as a mech that could change from tank to plane to a walking, stomping robot.

I haven't really been keeping tabs on the Pop Quiz, so I don't know if this game has already been used as a question.

The only game that I know that used the SuperFX2 chip was Star Fox, but I definately don't think that's the answer.  It sounds to me like mechwarrior.  It also sounds like robotech (you know, from plane to stomping robot).

Wow, I check back in 5 days and the thread has been off-topic 3 times and recovered before I came back. Interesting...

Uhmmm... Starfox wasn't able to do that. However, Starfox 64, did all of that. (Which is my guess.)

As for Robotech (Macross, as it was release) it didn't use the SuperFX2 chip.

when i saw tank-plane-robot i immeadiately thought of the veritechs and valkaries from robotech, but apparently i was wrong :(

Correct, MOT!

Although, I'm not sure about the tank part, haven't played in like 6 years..... The other forms are correct.

That game was definitely fun, for its time....

[technical errata]
vValentine, StarFox (SNES version) used the first version of the Chip, the SuperFX.  Vortex used the second-generation chip, SuperFX2.
[/technical errata]

-edit-
Oh yeah, the good folks at Linkline Communications finally got the DSL service back online.  Took 'em long enough......

Ok my question:

Another snes game in an isometric 3d perspective which is about a magician/mage and is an RPG style game.
