Is there any way of just decompiling the text only? As I find that decompling takes up about 1gig of hard disk space!
 
theres no other way around it.
besides if you just extract the dialog files, how are you going to recompile the whole archive to use it with ff8?
unless qhimm comes up with a ficedula style updating feature...
 
Unless he changes his mind, Qhimm's done with Garden. Maybe someday, someone else will continue the project.
 
Maybe I shouldnt have released the debug version. Some people here, are experiencing high blood pressure because of it.
BTW, we shuld switch to another topic title. This one is misleading, "Garden by The SaiNt".
 
The SaiNt: Well, it's not really that bad. It's just a tad annoying when someone posts a question, you answer, then someone else posts exactly the same question several lines below or even makes another thread about it. Still, not a big deal.
 
Ah. The ever-so popular Ficedula and Qhimm. I admire Ficedula because (s)he actually updates their site. Qhimm's just sits there with the same old content. Me and my friends have been waiting a year and a half for it to be updated. And nothing has happened. Please take this into consideration Qhimm.

It is rather odd that you'd pick an old thread like this to begin posting in...

Fice:  I've always thought your nick was rather masculine-not that I dwell on those sorts of things.  Given that this forum is 97% male, I *usually* assume "non-gendered" nicks are male, unless otherwise stated.
 
weve been getting quite a few re awakenenings of old posts (see the ff storyboard for some) u sure the posts are sorted in the right order :wink:

Every single time someone asks me about updating the page, I quote what is written there. I'm having problems with my ISP, so I can't update the site. Is that really so hard to comprehend, or is there a human urge to annoy people about obvious things?
 
Well... Qhimm are you working on any of your programs at the moment?
 
Qhimm -> i think that people are noticing that its been 1 yr+, and theyre thinking that youve forgotten or something.
 
In the little spare time I have, I do work on some of my programs. I won't tell you which, because I don't want to get anyone's hopes up. I also somehow find time to work out the new design and fiddle with the client-side processing thingys... and now with this new board, I'll have to re-do a lot of it

LOL!  Now there's something you don't hear everyday!  I had to use one like that back when I was learning some basic HTML at school's computer club.
