we all know u didn't geek guys are mostly afraid of talking to girls.. she prolly had to coax u w/ some candyMountain Dew or Cheetos or something..

I never ever wear either jeans or shorts, so I was pleased by that part :)

The extreme geeks wear grey short shorts with suspenders and a short-sleeved shirt tucked into 'em.  Also tall black socks and formal-looking shoes.  They typically come with a bowl cut, braces, and glasses the same size as their face.  They have an awkward smile, like they'll come after you in your sleep.  Oh, and you'll never see a geek without an analogue watch on his wrist either.  Geeks tend to be around average height or slightly shorter, but not always.

(Nearly everyone I've ever met wears jeans, but I suppose that would include both geeks and non-geeks.)

Most of that actually sounded like the definition of a hipster. :P

And wait, what is this? Geeks don't tend to be tall? Is there something about geeks that like... prevents them from growing? :P
Naw but really, when I picture the stereotypical geek you just described, I imagine them very tall and lanky.
 
I know way too many freakishly tall people (makes me feel really short).  And I can only think of two of them who classify as geeks.  So mind-devoted to one intellectual interest that they never get a taste of anything else.  And yeah, they are pretty lanky :P One day, I wanna see a team of tall, lanky geeks dressed up the way I described and doing the robot dance.

Oh, and geeks are always skinny.  They have no lives, they cannot die, and therefore, they do not eat.  If you find a fat geek, it's not a real geek.  It's a wannabe geek.
 
All of these geek stereotypes seem to come from the 1980s.

The modern geek looks like a younger version of Richard Stallman.
 
in the end though, it shall be the geeks and nerds that inherit and run the world.... just do NOT put me in a state of power, many.. many people will revolt :P
