My company has decided that our remote location is no longer necessary, so as of today I am unofficially unemployed! (Who-hoo!) Since our branch is located in Virginia, and our home office is located in Texas (for those of you overseas, a heck of a long way) they have let us buy up a lot of old PC's and other junk. That got me to thinking-how about the rest of you? What kind of deals have_you_been able to scarf up? And it doesn't have to be PC related, maybe car, or music, or whatever. Anyways, here's an abbreviated version of what I'm taking home today
C, Pentium 166, 2G hd, 16mb ram
3 PC's, Pentium 233, 2g HD, 32mb ram
2 PC's, Pentium II 350, 6G HD, 64 MB ram
1 PC, Pentium III 500, 6G HD, 64 MB ram
4 ethernet hubs, 5 and 10 port.
A ton of software, NT sever 4.0, SQL server 7, Windows NT workstation, ArcServe IT, Office 2000 professional and more.
The total price? $100 bucks. The company is just too cheap to want to pay for shipping.
