I've just been laid off!Ok, That's not really good news for me, but I have my expences covered. Because of this, I can now can put 100% effort into FF7 hacking. (well, ok, maybe 75%, I could never get myself 100% motivated on *anything*) I've been contemplating on first creating a central reposotory for all the FF7 docs written and putting them in some sort of order. (Just like my PSX doc) This will allow us to have a "road map" of sorts to see what's left and will get me up to speed on what needs to be reversed. It will be on a module-by-module basis. In order to start I need permission in advance to copy Ficedula's docs, Terence Fergusson's docs. (I will be keeping those as intact as I can, just changing some of the wording to put some things into context and placing them into a binary text format.) and anyone else I can think of. Good idea? bad? comments?

You can include any of my doc's no problem so long as I'm credited ... but wasn't Srethron doing this? In fact, wasn't he nearly finished on it?

Now that you mention it, yea, I guess I'll start to work on the world map format. There are no inroads on that yet.

Hehe, halkun you're the happiest laid off worker I've known.  :)Anyway, I'll just tell you about what I found out while doing some file access scanning.

WM0 World Map Ground
WM2 World Map Sea

Same here really; you can use the information from my docs fine, so long as I'm credited.  (I do hope to one day release my FAQs to the general public)

Most of the documents they're referring to are privately distributed at the moment; whenever I get the inclination to finish them, however, I hope to distribute them more publicly.  Sorry.
