Got Win XP now...

no... like LILO for linux or the BeOS boot discs. stuff like that
 
ok this is going to sound kind of lame but hows XP working out for you. i'm getting it for christmas and i'm not sure if i should get XP or go to ME/98. any suggestions?
 
Don't even put a slash between 98 and ME....ME is an OS to stay away from....at all costs.

From what I can tell, Get XP if you never plan on looking back. Get 98SE if you plan on popping in those 2 year old and older programs.
 
or: dual boot XP and 98SE on the same system.

hehe thats what im doing:

XP: 40 GB Partition
98: 25 GB Partition
Redhat: 25 GB Partition
BeOS: 10 GB Partition
 
so long as it backward compatible i'm all for XP i just don't like the search thing of the menu. some dog asks you what kind of seqarch you want to perform......
 
i could setup that linux machine with a bigger HD(8gd or so). and dual boot 98. might hsve to deal with the matrix lines but it would work.
 
the green and pink likes that appear. i thought thoues were called 'matrix lines'. i wish i was neo :sad:
