I see that the moon seems to have rotated :-o

(I'm not complaining; I just found it funny 8-))
 
Lol, photos from japan of the moon and photos from the US of the moon will be slightly(not much) different.


I'm interested to know how you cleaned up those clouds... They're the same clouds, no doubt about it, but they're much better defined...

The moon is a stock NASA image that was fairly close to the original, i messed heavily with the lighting and color to match it, but yes it's slightly rotated, but ultimately works. For the clouds, I used tineye to search the original and found the same clouds used in many jrpgs, so took the highest rez one i could find (actually the same resolution, just not 8bit) so there was significantly more detail and difinition, upscaled it and made it seamless again. (thers a slight line in there if you're able to notice but we were never able to get rid of it.... wtvs
 
tineye? explain. Is it a search engine that takes an image as input and outputs all the results it finds that are similar? (I could use something like that...)
 
pretty much... you put in an image, or an image url, and it searches the web for all similar or matching imagesg (in part or in whole... the sky i put in is part of a slightly bigger one)

note, its index isnt that big yet, so dont expect to find everything, but its very useful

Ahem!

This is exactly what is being done! :x

Well, except for the character texture remakes, but there are character remake projects out there (remaking the models as well as textures); they're just not part of this project.

If you have a suggestion, make a thread for it. This is a screenshot thread. Those are all things we'd /like/ to do, but expect to wait a very long time for it all to be done.

Working on finishing up the last of the menu_us.lgp. Battle square slots right now. But need to go through all the other menu stuff to make sure its all done. Does anyone know what the b1, b2,b3, etc icons are for?
 
speaking of redoing textures for summoning animations:

I would LOVE to see remodeling of summons (original ones of course)

An epic looking alexander casting judgement would make me cry obesebear's tears of happiness.
