Help please...

Basically i downloaded the pc version of the game. not ultima edition. and the auther who "remade" the game to run on windows 7 mentioned these forums. so i came here for help. i am using the remix HD mod as well as the opengl and the 1.02 patch...

now the problem, when i air buster... stupid robot at the 2nd mako reactor. he blows up and my screen goes black, everything except cloud, tifa and barret, and cloud doesn´t fall off... this is kinda annoying... any idea
