Help to Enhance FF7... [SOLVED]

Hello, I'm new here. I hope my English is good enough for you to understand me because is not my native language (the funny thing is that I learned most of it playing FF7 and Zelda <.< )

I wanted to play FF7 with enhanced graphics and sound so I downloaded the **TABU NAME**. After a while I found better mods but only for the full game, so I'm going to install my full game but I don't know what I need to know before download/install any mod, like: mod order, programs needed (saw something about LGPTools), patches? (1.02 and the Chocobos one is enough?).

Also I want to know which ones are the best graphic mods, I see that there are for HD, colour depth, resolution, enhanced characters and NPC graphics, enhanced map/field graphics etc. What I want is to upgrade the quality of the game keeping the battle/materia/magic/limit/etc systems intact.

We don't support the ultima edition of ff7 on this forum, as it is pirated. so....

Step one to upgrading ff7 - get a legal copy.

Advent Avatars
New spells

These can be found on this website or fileshare etc i dont have any hi-res at the moment or v1.02 because ive just started modding my game but im sure the others on this forums can be more of help then me :)

I have a legal copy, I downloaded the UE to play on Windows 7 and with non-SD characters before knowing about a patch to make the legal copy work on XP/Vista/W7 and about the many mods out there... sorry for asking here, bye.
 
For starters:  get aali's driver and learn the ropes of his lgptools, ask around in a few threads, experiment, etc.
After that I highly recommend GUI overhaul found in the Team Avalanche forum.  After that there are smaller (but still incredibly awesome) mods like millenia's weapons, the superawesome cloud and barret battle models, and of course, the NPC PRP.

Other mods to look at:  ff7music (takes a bit of doing to make it run smoothly),  bike mini game redux, full screen start menu by nero, icon redux, and the diamond weapon redux
 
il check that allis out too got alot to look up for making my final fantasy 7 a better game :D cant wait for other mods to come out too woot this will be nice to see a total upgrade for ff7 :D i wish there was a final fantasy Vii-2 :)

None the less, you still pirated the game. Even if you have legally the discs you went and downloaded a pirated version of the game. Which in all honesty I don't under stand why, Ultima is a really crappy version I hear.... All kinds of bugs.

Technically you could consider AC to be VII-2
 
Ok he pirated, but he can't do any modding with a pirated copy and yes there are moral issues but the integrity or legal security of the site isn't at sake quit riding his ass.  Good luck in your research, you'd be surprised how much has been accomplished in the past year using aali's driver and the hard work and will of the members here.  I'd say 90% of everything is redone save battle models and areas and field textures.  The only one you'd notice though is the field textures which are being worked on very hard by Team Avalanche but there's a lot to be done there.
 
:) true the people running this site and the team are working hard with these mods to make this like a version of square enix company remake i think theyve done well tbh all the mods ive seen everyone has been working very hard to try make there final fantasy amazing good and bug free thanks for everyones help :P
 
on that note, i beleive (as far as TA is concerned) we're making it very unlike how square enix would remake the game... They' likely keep it to compilation style (more realistic) and would probably overhaul the gameplay to be more like ff13 or crisis core.

Actually, yes he can, he just has to pirate the right version. As long as he can find a pirate version of the 4 disc game, he wins. And at this point, I'm not riding his ass for any reason, I'm just stating facts... which I should probably stop doing as it makes me come off as an asshole.

You know, I honestly wouldn't mind too much a remake similar to crisis core. However it wouldn't be VII.
 
true but still how there making is what is kinda what i was expecting i think they have ruined final fantasy now i didnt like ff12 or 11 not sure where u run about and slash them and 13 i dont like as much because it has auto battle where you dont have a strategy and the comp does it for you secondly all summons are robots i didnt like this due to the game mostly being monster based :L and i liked it were the earth was in danger like in 7,8,9 :D ff9 was just a lil different but not far off :) but anyway my point is that these ff7 mods are how i expected square to make it but your right they wouldnt have made a remake as i would thought :P but anyway this guy has left the forums so it doesnt matter if he has a coppied version or not you can still run the mods on it and that is that aslong as hes happy who gives a bull

The point here is, pirating is bad. So if he has a pirated copy, I'm not going to help him. If you're going to pirate, you should either 1, not make it blatantly obvious at LEAST, or 2 not ask for help altogether.

Why do you care so much? because if he gets in trouble for his pirated copy then thats his fault not ours but im just saying if he is happy with what he does why bother? it makes me laugh tbh because if he gets caught then tough bull i mean the only reason im saying is because he was probally just looking for a mod update not a new game hehe :P i also know your going to say you dont care but still why bother with this post we all know pirating is wrong but some of us choose to do this on our own terms ^^ but im being honest its true i dont like piraters either but you dont have to be so harsh about it :L

obviously i know your just stating facts but this guy is new to the forums and he probally doesnt no any better im just saying i g2g in min cuz got college tomoz but still if he didnt know that maybe the site should put up a list of rules before you enter it lol :) but still i kno what you mean we ought to change the subject he posted this hours ago ^^ so i rekon a new subject is in order kk?
