Hi I'm just planning to buy a PC version of VII but I'm just having some problems... Well I went on eBay to check there it showed me a lot of different version of the same game... I think they are real but I'm just trying to get the right version...

So can someone please tell me what version should I get? I want to get a version that was sold in North America(Canada) thanks.

And I have another question... Before I use my PS1 to play FFVII and sometime i cheat to get some stuff... I use gameshark, ar etc... But if i buy it on PC can I cheat?
 
I have version one and it works 100%

And if you want to cheat, you're gonna want to check out Jenova.
 
Version 1 is what I have, and what I think is the coolest, but the third version will work fine, too.
 
Top left one I belive. Regardless, it is labeled on the front of the disk.

My (old german) Version has 4 discs: 3 game discs + 1 installation disc.
I have never seen an edition with a "manual disc"...

They exist. I almost bought it when I originally got the game a year or so back. It's just the manuals and whatnot on disc. I'm pretty sure the game version is credible, or else the people that were selling this "game manual on CD" version wouldn't be selling very well, would they?
 
The manual disc is mostly a compilation of reedmes on the installation disc + a pdf regarding ff7 and controls etc..
