If anyone mentions Mr T to do Barret's voice, i'll hurt them!

Mister T looks like Barret, but he wouldn't be good as his voice. I'd picture someone like Ice T or DMX as Barret. That would be hella tight.
 
I was just voicing some ideas being thrown around at a thread at the FFonline forums, talking about a similar topic:  What the characters from FF7-9 would sound like, if they had good voice acting.

And, yeah, I cracked up when I heard the suggestion about Robin Williams.
 
Whoever plays Terry McGuiness from batman beyond would be the absolute perfect FF8 Squall

If this project ever DOES come to life, I'd gladly be a part of it. Of course, that depends on whoever is doing it will want to work with non-celebrity voices  :) . I don't think they'd be able to hire any celebrities very easily, unless they are some big-shot millionaire.

If someone here decides to light this project up, sign me up for any male character.
 
hmm... Sean Connery as President Shinra... I can see it. For Barret, let's get the guy who played Morphious in The Matrix. I bet he could to a killer Barret... Oh, for Hojo: Christopher Walken.

Personally, I'd love to play the part of Rufus. I think I'd do a great Rufus.

Hey what about putting this voice stuff into the remake?  I'm sure they'd beable to find enough people to voice the "cast thousands." (That was in the TV comercial for FFVII right? Or did I mix it up with something else?)
 
I did, Japanese version, Korean version also English (US version) as well...
I even remember a friend of mine in US told me that,
you can get a free FFVII t-shirt at that K-Mark (1998 I think!)

Well let see, from the commercials I only remember the narrators!!!
 
I seem to remember the narrator saying something "Three years in the making" and " a cast of thousands"
 
the dude who plays terry on batman is from boy meets world, cant remember his name, hes coreys older brother.
