Since when have I had 3 warnings? Last time I checked, I had one or maybe two. But three? odd...

**Cough** /spam ;-)

This thread went the wrong way.  I was just playing about the 12 yr old AOLer link.  The kid may have dyslexia, or whatever, but it's life, we all have our issues.  If the kid want's to learn how to code or /., point him in the right dirrection.  That's all I was doing.

I have to agree, I skipped it first time because I dont like long posts much, but after reading it, I must say that if he doesnt understand that, perhaps he shouldnt be allowed on the internet?

Why has this topic gone onto two pages? ~_^

It's very hard to tell if someone has dyslexia, has English as a second or third language, or is just an illiterate moron (8 out of 10 C being the usual scenario on the internet). I just want to know if anyone knows him personally, and knows for a fact that he has dyslexia.

Otherwise, someone might be getting a pretty good laugh right now. But then again, thats just how I normally think.

hey I am gonna drop the rensewkewkin thing
and were some of you stiking up for me, thanks

MOD EDIT: Three consecutive posts merged into one.

Wait, if he's dyslexic, how can he read and understand what we're saying? Or is it not like that? I dont have alot of knowledge with dyslexia really, just basics.

We all speak perfect English...most of the time.

That's what you need...they just released 1.5 w00t!  NetBeans is pretty easy to use, and has a cute GUI interface.  I'd recommend it, since you don't have experiance with Java yet.

Thento Barnse & Noble or Amazon.com and grab a copy of Java Programming for Dummies.  It's a really good book, and easy to read.  Believe me, it saved my arse in my freshman CompSci class, when I had a crappy instructor who didn't explain jack to me.

edit:  Qhimm, Tri-posting rawks though.  Can't you feel the n00b tonight? ^_^ (shameless rip on Elton John)

Elton johns REAL name is Reginald Dwight.  FACT.

You can kinda see why he changed it can't you   :D

You could use J# its a REAL easy language but it destroys any programming skills you will have/have/had

Wouldn't it be a good idea to move this thread to the CU-forum?

I mean, it's an interersting thread, but I just don't think it belongs on the General forum.

Right?

Greetz,

EW.

Bah.  It deals with general /. knowledge.  How to program, etc etc.

but general isnt about programming.. (ff-related)

But TTG is...and I do believe the fellow in question asked about that in his first all CAPS paragraph.

I am amazed this thread is still around indeed.

Darrel: I remember in college a 13 year old freshman. I really had a hard time getting him to think about his school work (he was premed I was CompSci and Electrical Engineering), instead of invading my room so I couldn't do my ussual 5 to 9 hours of homework a night (2Am bed time every day!).  So I suggest you sit and listen a bit and read the threads.  It will help you think about how to approach people here more amicably.

There is a good rule here, treat others how you would like to be treated. Wither you are deslexic (I Am it shows when I am tired especially when talking to me (verbally)), or not, be patient rushing anything will never acomplish much.

As for Tetra Master Gold et al, you could make your own version if you have the patience.

Qhimm- yeah I noticed that about the new version of the card game for FF9, I hated playing it because of that. They also made it too limited.  It totally spoiled the fun of the game.  I won't comment on FF10's blitzball <kill>.  As for FF9 it seemed way to short to me.  I must be the only one.

Actually this thread was started because he wanted to have his father publish TTG. I dunno, sounds Unrelated to me.
