Could you make the original ff7 soundfonts with the rom samples as normal instuments? PLease!

Dont keep your hopes up. Threesixty is busy and soundfonting isnt exacly his trade or any thing...

Hmm . . . If you want to use the original Soundfont with an SBlive, the ROM samples apparently work with the SBLive. Vienna or (I'm asumming) any other SoundFont editor will report that the ROM samples are incompatible with your soundcard, but if you load the SoundFont, the instruments that use the ROM samples will play. (I noticed this one day when I loaded the 512K SF and saw that it took up about 1.47 or so MEGS in the SF cache . . . So I played "Still More Fighting" . . . and low and behold, I heard that terrible AWE64 Distortion Guitar. Apparently, the SBLive card has a ROM chip that contains the samples which are loaded into memory when needed for backwards compatibility.)

Yeah...but are they the same?The truth is I don't know how to do such stuff....editing soundfonts was easy....anyone can do it. If you can Paste and cut you can edit Soundfonts with Vienna. You can download the Vienna editor from Creative's website. Just make sure the you use non copyrighted Soundfonts, if you post it on a website.
(Got some new games...so that dialog copy thing got put on hold....I stopped as soon as the group left Midgar...the page count was something like 200 or something.....just got tired of typing all that dialog.)
Seems that there is a post at Eidos that is requesting a patch for FF7....

Well after my inspirieing speech how can Redlegg not do something about it? 
But seriously. I hope something does happen. Lets petion. Gather names and emails and send then to Eidos and Sqaure perhaps?
It might help to if we can "convince" Redllegg(Hes and Admn who works for Eidos for people that dont visit that place) to put his name down.
