do i copy and paste even the ff7 files into my ff8 directory folder? Is there a step by step for windows mode for ff8 like the one ff7 has?

To tell the truth I'm not sure if you need the FF7 files or not, but I copy all of the files into the FF8 directory.  Then I open the ff8_opengl configuration file and change the fullscreen option from yes to no, save the file, and play.

FF7 ones aren't needed (I guess) but it doesn't hurt to leave them there. I always leave my FF8 ones there when I install FF7.

Open ff8_opengl.cfg

window_size_x = 0 (width)
window_size_y = 0 (height)
preserve_aspect = yes (best leave to yes)
fullscreen = yes (switch to no)

Save.

EDIT: Didn't notice someone already posted.

I added the "ff7_opengl-0.7.9b" to my ff8 directory. And it show me an error message. How do i fix this?

You need to put every file from aali's driver in that folder even if it says ff7 something. In particular you are missing the fgd files.
