just have to correct your idiocy, as common as it may be I cannot stand it. The word "emo" actually first derived from a genre of music called emotive-hardcore which began in the early to mid 80's. One of the first bands of this genre was a group called Fugazi. People just made the assumption that "emo" stood for emotional (just as most uneducated individuals tend to resort to assumption) and proceeded to destroy and desecrate the entire message of what these people were trying to get across. In short; This modern "emo" movement is just another washed up, kashed out, piece of shit, that stems from no legitimate philosophy, ideal or scientific system and means absolutely nothing. 1. Emo means emotional. Evanescence could be considered emo music.
2. He doesn't sing emo music. Their genre is more along the lines of pop/techno/glam music.
