You should drop Manipulate as a status, since no enemy can use that anyway. Also, please stop calling it "First Tsurugi", it's really retarded and makes absolutely no sense. Call it anything else, maybe in full English, like First Sword, First Saber, First Brand, First Whatever, but not "Tsurugi". And also drop "First" while you're at it.

i was just following fandom, but it came from a misunderstanding of "First Ken" from a documentary about the movie on the subject of the Fusion Sword (which i might rename it to) after considering the obvious lol
im not really partial to one side or the other i just went with wat came up on the forums + wikia lol

yes the Fusion Sword (which also is an unofficial name just like "First/1st Tsurugi") is the one that has 6 detachable identical swords that make up its whole from the AC/ACC movies and DC, Dissidia, and KH2 games
i think (and this is total opinion) the reason its called the "First Sword" is because its the first trademark weapon that exclusively belongs to him u kno its the first sword he can actual call his own, his "First Sword".

not all 6 of the detachable swords look alike, there are 6 break of pieces, 3 pair of swords, each pair looks like its mirror opposite but there 1 different design for each of the 3 pairs, they lock into place and make the full 1st Ken (1st tsurugi/fusion sword)

I saw in wikipedia that Cloud's swords was called fusion swords. I thought its actually called like that since it had more sense than Tsurugi.

yea but they said that tatsuya (i think thats how u spell his name) said theres no official copyright name for it, any name for it is just somthing somone came up with that for the most part stuck within the community
he himself called it "First Ken" but then remarked that it isnt an official name

damn. trip growth and 8 slots? interesting item but doubt i would use it cause it seems too cheap.

only used it for the lulz, the sword's got no growth, and it started with 8 slots, only reason i put 8 slots up is because im a specialist in materia combination (i.e. counter+deathblow pheonix+final attack) also i kno that there are some loop-holes in the Master Materias - such as - Master Command's Enemy Skill is empty, which means if u have an E.Skill materia with all the skills u gotta equiped it w/Master Command to utilize ur hard earned atks which takes up extra slots and that Master Command dosent utilized EVERY command ability available, and finally Slash All / 2x/4x-Cut materias along with pre-emptive/chocobo lure/gil+/cover materias, not everything is gonna fit in 8-14 slots, and i just modified the Ziedrich (added luck to it and slots and modified the name and subtext for it) in the end i dont really pay attention to how slow or fast my materia growth was i just put triple for the "epic" effect, just to show off my creativity. you'd figure a "gift from Zack" would be a decent little gadget and that "Aerith's ribbon" would be a tad bit more effective than a normal one being that they are "Special/Unique" items =] also they're only usable by tifa/aerith (pre-death)/cloud so its not like i'd be buffing my party to leet-noob status lol

Not trying to get into something thats not mot business, but I could understand his post just fine, although I agree he could have used better sentence structure(but I run mine on forever sometimes also).

He's a comma man. He used many commas instead of using periods. Well its not my business too but let the moderator do his job. Anyways on topic, I use triple materia growth too for the ultimate weapons since I don't see them as ultimate that much if the materia growth is nothing.

Yeah as I said sometimes I'm guilty of too many comma's, and wind up having to change half my post to improve sentence structure lol.
And the ultimate weapons are the ULTIMATE weapons, why would you need materia growth from the ruby weapon fight ya know what I mean?
Also why would you need that many triple slots. I mastered almost 3 sets of all the materia in disk 1 with the 4 slot double rune armor and weapons.
The attack is much lower, but as I said who needs materia growth on a boss fight? By the time I get the ultimate weapons I wont have very much materia to lvl anyways. So with Cid's triple weapon and everyone else on doubles vs magic pots it would take me not a very long time at all.
The biggest materia growing I ever did was for my ruby weapon startegy when I was 13. I mastered 8 counters and 8 mimes so that every time ruby or emerald attacked, I would come back with 8 omnislashs. Was really cheap and broke the game to me...

I don't actually use the Fair Weather bangle during gameplay because i don't pay attention to my materia growth anyways. I'm more into combination than growth.
Like in the list i posted above. The use of 8 slot bangles is only for the purpose of supporting materia combinations. I don't care how fast it levels up.
