The Music is here: http://uk.geocities.com/norn_master/Music.wav

I've not done an intro and it's bad quality sound, I think it's ok for a rush.(I really want 2 B part of the FF prequal)

I'm guessing people don't like it  or nobody is looking at this topic.

There is some problem, I cant download it. Try to fix it, and Ill post my opinion. I promise.

For those who can't download it, right-click on the link and save as.

As for a response about the music, I downloaded it and it seems to be good.  There's something catchy in the tune.  With a little editing it could be good for a character theme.  Good Job.  I am learning more C++ programming so that I can also take part of the project.  I know this project will take years, but It could be one hell of a game if it is completed.  Try to come up with more tunes.

That sounds ok, but I couldnt really tell; the WAV was very bad quality. Cant you make an MP3 version? Or could you put up the MIDI if you wrote it that way. What program did you use?

I'm using Finale Notepad but I hate so from now on I'm going to sibelius, a bad thing about finale is that it can't change it into MP3, or midi. Also I can't convert it into sibelius format.

PS I have a better quality wav of the song but it's 4.5mb (so if you have a **** modem it'll be a bit hard.)

Your Avatar is not displaying Neo Bahamut...Web host problem?

It'll need some more editing, it sounds little 'empty' to me. Some background or stuff.

A Bit short for my tastes.

It's also VERY quite. You need to boost the volume about 150-200% or so.

It's a nice diddy, but it DOES sound slightly empty. It reminds me of FF4 and FFMQ music. Very simple.

It's good work. Better than I could do, but then again, I'm into the GFX, not the music.

Not only was the avatar image url wrong, the image is hosted at geocities, which doesn't allow external linking to files...

Well, the best thing to do is to get a web host which enables you to upload files in in (ones with FTP the better)

Here is several sites I found:

Virtual Nine
- 5 MB site.

Freedom To Surf
- It got a bit slower lately.

Go-Build.net
- 20 MB site. Browser upload.

Stormpages
- Browser Upload. It allows only a certain number of image files though to be uploaded though.

That's about all the free good sites I know

Hm, I cant d/l cos it's on Geocities. I've never heard of those programs before, I use Evolution Audio Lite, it's great. I also have Cubase but my PC's a bit too slow, and EAL is pretty fast. If you want to write music for the Remake Project I'd advise you to use one of those as they let you save in MIDI, and I *think* the project's using MIDI.

I thought they were useing MP3's :???:
Anyway i've though of a great start for some turk style music

PS Do you know where I can find a full version of Sibelius, the demo version can't save!!

We are aiming at MIDI for the majority of our music, yes.

However; the current list of formats that the engine supports at the moment is:

MID/RMI/SGT
MP3/MP2/MPG
XM
S3M
MOD
IT
WAV/Compressed WAV
ASF
WMA
AVI

...and streamed internet music. Not that we'll NEED 90% of those formats, but nevertheless, that's what its supports at the moment
