Is there a way to read more about what a mod does?

I've looked on this forum and through the 7th Heaven app and I cannot find a way to read more about what each mod does. Every mod in the catalog has the link that goes to the guide on how to set 7th Heaven up (https://www.ff7catalog.com/threads/10634/). I can guess that "Battle Models - Characters" uses the battle models on the field, but I can't see the author of the mod. There's also other mods such as "Gameplay - Tweaks and Cheats" that I have no idea what they do. I watched a video on 7th Heaven and the guy suggested that I use "Kaldarashas" mod instead of the more realistic one, but the problem is I don't know which is which. The links will change in the 3.0 update. They'll point to a Google doc with links to each mod and/or a readme. It takes time to organize and make all that from scratch.
