Ah God.

I hope he pulls through.

Crashing a rocket car at 200km and surviving would also make a very interesting story for the grandkids.

The dragster car he was driving was believed to have been travelling at about 300mph when it crashed.
Holy hell, i knew lambo can do 300kph but 300mph is just insane.

I just saw on the news that he stabalized but still is on constant monitering because it could go wrong any sec again or something.

I have not watched TV in five years, and live in the U.S.

Is this just an EU thing, or am I missing something?

I think he was doing more towards the 300mph! Apparently he's doing well in IC though so looks like he'll recover. Bet the BBC have health and safety crawling all over them at the moment!

i read it this morning, its a shame it happened, btu i bet clarkson is gload he didnt take it for a ride, i think he is lucky to survive a dragster rolling over at 300mph

James: Is that a young Roger Taylor in your avatar?

Whoo: 1984 posts... the best year ;)

Honestly?

I'm surprised you picked it up.

Roger Taylor is my favourite artist of my favourite band.

I've been using it for everything lately (even on a music forum!) and no one has figured out it was Taylor.

Well done to the two of ya.

If you listen to '39 by Queen, Bri is on lead vocals while the rest of the band is chorus and so forth, but if you listen for a really high pitched voice, there the sucker is. Now listen to him on Return of the Champions or even No One But You.

Also, in the video for "I Want To Break Free", I gotta say Taylor makes a pretty good schoolgirl.

Yes, Jedimark is quite the fan of Queen, attended a concert, didn't you?

Oooh, a fellow Queen fanatic?

A bit too young to have attended and remembered any of the great Queen concerts, though, I think (myself as well, sadly).

The Queen + Paul Rodgers tour that swept through the past year was pretty solid; I enjoyed it.

Edit: I realize you weren't asking me if I attended a concert, but I'm assuming Jedimark attended the same one (albeit at a different venue) that I did.

Well sadly I never got to see Freddie Mercury at a concert as I was too young! But, yeah I did see Queen + Paul Rodgers last year, went to the Newcastle show. Went to the gala performance of We Will Rock You a few weeks ago as well when it would have been Freddie's Birthday and saw Roger Taylor, it was a brilliant night.

I think his vocals are pretty sucky though...

My parents once took me to a Queen concert when i was young, dunno much about it anymore.

I remember seeing the most people ever thoug :P

I remember reading that Bri and Paul are going to release some studio work soon (not under the Queen name), so that should be interesting...

All Queen songs are meant to be sung by Freddie (aside from the obvious exceptions), and as no one can sing like he could, Paul doesn't have a chance against him!

How was the Freddie birthday celebration? I obviously couldn't attend, but wanted to pretty badly.
