I'm making an offer to anyone on this forum, who ever gets me that model. I will pay them 100 bucks through paypal, no lying. But the model has to be intact and playable on the pc version. Send me a private message, so squaresoft/squareenix doesn't scare you to death. Ridiculous... I just don't understand why someone would make a topic and kind of rub it in showing screenshots, showing that they have the model and no one else does. It shows immaturity in some ways, it's like if your gonna do that just release it to the public. How can squaresoft even track down the person isp, it's not like they're sharing it on p2p program or some crap. And maybe if squareenix wasn't so lazy they'd be making a graphically better final fantasy 7 so the fans wouldn't have to do it themselves. We didn't even get an official pc patch for final fantasy 7, so we got an unofficial windows xp patch because they were that lazy. And Squaresoft/squareenix would have the nerves to bother the fans that pay their freaking bills?

if i had 100$ to spend on it id probably just buy kOH and rip the model myself, id love the modern models too but its against forum rules so stop asking lol

I know I wouldn't get more than a slap on the wrist if I were to release it, they would not dare spend the money it would take to sue a nobody like me. That's not real the reason.

As I see it, using material that someone else made without consent is theft. I'm also an artist, what I did was like taking a photo of someone's painting and photoshoping slight differences on it and calling it my own. Or taking the beginning of someone's song and using it in my own without asking.

I apologize if knowing that I have done this has upset or offended you.

obesebear Well I was gonna rip out the KH2 Sephiroth and modify him the same way so that he'll be in the original costume style, the same way I did Cloud. But that's about as far as I'm going, I've got way too many projects to turn this one into a main one. It's just some fun I'm having and I'd thought I'd share the results with the community I learned all this FFVIIPC stuff from!

If he has the talent to make it, he has the right to keep it to himself, not distribute it if it puts him at any risk.
If you want it, you'll just have to learn how to do it, and do it yourself, that's what I'm doing
I got all the software, and am planning on getting some practice in later today :-)

I'm going to start with Cid btw, if anybody has any suggestions or advice :-)
 
Ya, I would go for just having the buster sword.  That is in y opinion the coolest part of the model, and if you made that yourself there should be no problem, and just putting that on cloud would  make him look 10 times more awesome.  If you don't want to, I won't say anything bad about you (since you are teh one who spent the time and effort to make it), but it would be really nice if you put it up somewhere.

You mean having just the buster sword with lots of materia... Thats what you mean right? Because I know that you can keep the buster sword in the game but the sword is weak and has no materia at all

Actually you can make the Buster Sword model ANY of Cloud's weapons, or you could make ALL of Cloud's swords into that Buster Sword. Just copy the file over and rename it to the other weapon names! I might release it in the near future, but we'll see!

I'm going to come off like the mean jack ass of the forum, so I don't care but I hardly believe you when you say you will release anything to the public. Have you released anything to the public for final fantasy 7 pc mod other then a few screenshots?
 
No I haven't yet... I'm new to the community and it hasn't been long since I learned how to do all of this. I've worked on a project before that made releases to the net. http://doomreborn.d3files.com/

Sadly we've all moved on before making anything final, partially just to get away from all the internet abuse we were receiving. Partially because we're all young people with busy lives getting through school and working.

But Yes I will release it then, just give me some time to prepare it.
 
That is really cool. The thing I like about it is that, while it is higher quality, the field version could still (sort of) blend in with the other models. Good Job.

BTW, Good luck with the fiance.

If you actually know the names of the models in battle.lgp. I know that BS is rtck and Ultima is rtcz :D. But, that's kinda off topic, I just wanna know if he'll give me the model of Buster sword that he has. Incredible details :-o
 
Just copy paste all of clouds battle files into a folder and use bitrun to check The sword models and name.

Does anybody know if anyone has done models for any of the other weapons (a complete updated model pack would be awesome)?

I think you'd need a 3D editing program to do that.  And even if you did, it wouldn't matter as KH Cloud does not = Apzfreak's Cloud.  Of course if you liked KH Cloud then you could use that I suppose, but I'm not sure if the KH model would translate to work in FF7 as is or if it would need to be altered.
