Apple is the greatest innovator in the tech world; all others copy from them.

So it is no surprise that Apple has a new innovation: Launchpad.

With this revolutionary new feature, you can see all of your apps on your desktop. All you have to do is click an icon in your dock. Just think about that for a second: icons on your desktop that you can click in order the launch a program. Isn't that magic?

So, you Windows users might want to switch for this. Who knows how long it will be before Windows has something to match the elegance and power of Launchpad?

man next thing you know apple will have start menus. i've never seen one before, but i've always imagined them as something you click and bam you can see almost every program on your computer.
 
man, Windows just can't compete, not with that crappy folder they have to hold all the programs, whats it called... a top desk, desktop? i dunno, not as good though.

I am having a hard time telling if you are being sarcastic. Isn't this exactly the same concept as a desktop icon? or am I missing something?

ugh... as much as i enjoy macs, launchpad is just a far reach to try and make osx more like an ios device... cept its what a dock is for...

I herd u liek docks? so i put a dock in yer dock so u can launch apps when u launch apps~

for all the nice things in the lion beta... this sucks the big one.

i hope the invent a rpg game for osx with a character with spiky hair and a big ass sword, that will sell like crazy and make a cult following.

Apple is trolling the entire industry. Hard.

They're also making me lose what little faith I had left in humanity with their amazing ability to extend the reality distortion field around the whole world and thus become the most valuable tech company of Earth.
